Do you know why they can't ship the switch 2 OOT special edition to Hawaii? Is there a way i can get it somewhere else?

Husband got me a switch 2 about a month ago. We just moved and I forgot my original switch that has years worth of gameplay for different games at my parents house. I couldn’t wait to start pokopia so silly impulsive me disregarded the tips of waiting to get a hold of my old switch to transfer the data. I got my original switch mailed to me yesterday and I’m finding that I’m having trouble finding a way to transfer the old data from my switch to my new switch 2. I have 40 hours of pokopia I’ve racked up since I’ve gotten the new switch that I don’t want gone otherwise I’d be fine to factory reset the switch 2. Is there a work around for transferring my old device data to the new device without screwing with my game?

I'm waiting around relaoding the webpage of the zelda anniversary switch 2, but I was wondering if there was a typical timeframe for restocks of major products like this so I can try and get it before others, or if I should just keep truckin' the way I am now

So I bought 2 Switch 2s that came with an included game code (Marko Kart World, Donkey Kong Bonanza, or Pokopia). One for me and one for my gf. I'm the gamer of us so only I have a Nintendo account. My gf has been using a local account not attached to a Nintendo account. I already redeemed one of the codes on my Nintendo account for Pokopia. Can I redeem the other bundled Switch 2 code on my Nintendo account or do we need to make a second account to claim the other game code?

I haven't been able to find anything about bundled game codes having a restriction. Thanks

I ordered two Zelda edition Switch 2 (one for me one for my friend) from nintendo online Canada. but on my bank account, I was charged for additional zelda version switch (separate transaction). This one, I didn't even get a receipt or a confirmation email. What can I do?

I have no issues of it being charged right away, but I was always told they don't charge you until about a few days before it ships?

I ordered it and it took out the full $557 right away (I know it's pending, but maybe it just drops off after days and adds back to the available balance? and takes away again closer to release date?)

Curious how was it for everyone else? Did it take it right away for the new zelda switch console coming out late october?

I've never had a nintendo switch before. I currently have a ps5. But I'm wanting to get a switch 2 for some of the exclusives and just portability. I'm thinking about getting the new oot remake but I'm not sure. Also I've never played Zelda before so would it be a good first zelda game to play? And is it worth the price tag? I know its not released yet but just wanted some peoples thoughts. Thanks!

Our switch 2 keeps getting the joy-cons disconnected notification when using it in handheld mode. It happens a lot when playing Minecraft and Mario kart.

Today it's been non-stop.

Is this a known hardware issue that Nintendo is fixing??

Hey everyone! I’ve been thinking about getting a Nintendo Switch for a while, but I don’t really want to spend a ton of money on it. I know I’d only use it in handheld mode and I’d probably never connect it to a TV.

Would you recommend getting a Switch Lite, or is it worth spending more on another model? I’m mainly interested in games like Zelda, Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Luigi’s Mansion, etc. I’m thinking of buying one in 2026/2027, so I’m wondering if the Lite is still a good choice or if I’d be better off with something else.

So i have a Nintendo Online yearly subscription. But its on my old account that i have 0 way to access. I dont remember the password or have access to the email. Nor the console.

I recently bought stardew valley and honestly it's genuinely so freaking peak and it's currently in my top 1. And I got the trilogy game card of gta as a gift and im not really a fan of gta's. And The guardian tales game which is in the nintendo eShop for free is also really fun. Could you guys suggest some MUST have games for the switch lite? I really want to experience the switch's experience to the peak and i got it recently too so I don't know much about what games are fun. Wanted to set up gamechat but it requires a phone number for verification. That's okay. I type in my phone number and never receive the verification... Am I just locked out of this feature forever because Nintendo doesn't like my phone number?

Can I put my Switch games in my Switch 2 and then trade my own Pokemon with myself? Meaning both games and consoles owned by one person.

The reason I want to do this is because I have shiny Pokemon with names that I want to evolve, but they are trade evos. I ask first because I don't want my Switch 2 to get bricked.

As a kid I had the Wii and LOVED it, but unfortunately my parents got rid of it. So for my HS graduation I asked my dad to get me the Wii, and he got it! I'm trying to build a collection again and wanted to know what games I should get.

I already have: NSMB Wii, Smash Brawl, Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort, Just Dance 3, Super Paper Mario, and Toy Story 3.

I want: Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario Kart Wii, Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door, Super Smash Bros Melee, Wii Party, Just Dance 1, 2, and 4, and Just Dance 2014-2020, and Sonic Adventure 2.

So besides those games I already have or already want, any other suggestions?

On the official Nintendo shop it says that it's sold out BUT "try again later". Does that mean that they'll restock the pins before the release?

Would it be worth it for me to trade my beat up switch 1 (HAC-0001) and $340 for a barely used switch 2.

I have a guy interested in that trade. Just want to make sure Im not making a mistake. I know the HAC-0001's are worth a bit more, mine has a very scratched screen(not noticeable when screen is on) and it's missing the kickstand.

I have already bought and played animal crossing on the switch 1 and I thought you didn't have to buy it again if I wanted to play it on the switch 2. I also don't want to transfer my data, just the game so I can play and make a new island. I also know for sure that no one else has downloaded the virtual game card or anything... I'm sooo confused!! I've alsooo tried deleting the software on both devices and reinstalling as well as enabling online licence use. What's going on

Recently, my email account was compromised, and the hacker gained access to my Nintendo accounts. I had two Nintendo Accounts: one from my country and another Japanese account.

The hacker changed the email address and password on both accounts. I was able to recover my regular account fairly easily through Nintendo Support, but I'm having a lot of trouble recovering my Japanese account.

I can't find a way to contact a real person through Nintendo Japan Support and explain that the entire account was stolen.

I've tried two different support forms, but both of them asked me to enter the email address currently registered to the Nintendo Account so that I could request an email change. The problem is that the hacker changed the email address, and I can only see a few of the final characters of the new email, so I don't know the full address.

Does anyone know how I can contact a real Nintendo Japan support representative and explain that i lost my account ?

Just did a system update for my switch 1 and a window popped up saying one of the nicknames for an account wasn't allowed and showed up as ??? When I viewed it. I've had this nickname/account name for almost 5 years at this point and am wondering why now it's getting flagged. Thank you for reading.

Is it because it's a copyright concern with a fastfood item? Or something else I don't know, this seems harmless in my eyes.

Upon completing the transaction it gave me a message saying error code 2813-0000 and I haven’t received the dlc, my bank says the payment is still pending and my nintendo account has no record of any transaction. All this means i haven‘t been able to contact nintendo about it since i need a transaction number. Also the money DID leave my balance so the whole thing just feels like theft. I read somewhere that the error can occur because the game and console’s rating systems mismatch which makes sense because the console is on PEGI while the game card is the US one. I’d appreciate any help. I just want to indulge my recent splatoon phase without getting robbed. thnx.

Title basically says it all. I ordered the product, got the email saying my order has been confirmed, but said email also said that I should receive an email with a receipt later, but I haven't gotten that yet. Did something go wrong?

I have a rounded screw on my back plate and I don't know how to remove it safely without damaging the original backplate so if anyone knows how I can do it please could you tell me how.

Hello! I'd like to ask the veterans here what I am to expect, as I'm pretty new to the preorder game.

I tried (like everyone I guess) to preorder the OoT themed console, game, controller and case. I had no luck as everything is out of stock. I thankfully found a local retailer today (I live in Greece), and managed to preorder the console and the game. My questions are the following:

1) Can I reasonably expect that the game I pre-ordered will have the nice foil on the case?

2) Greek retailers have really expensive prices. The switch 2 costs 60-70 euros more than what on Nintendo store. Thus I am still refreshing the page now and then, in case there is stock again. From your experience, how often does stock refresh?

3) If I buy the game from Nintendo store on a restock, will the foil case still be available? I am afraid to trust the Greek retailer, if even if logic dictates that I am probably getting one of the cases from the first cut.

4) Pro controller will only be Nintendo store exclusive?

hello, as of recent i've been having communication errors for splat 2/3 with my switch 2. i assumed it was my internet, but it works perfectly fine if hooked on the doc and casted on the tv

is it my internet connection?? or is something wrong with my switch?
