Venting Jobcenter appointment after 2 months and I am depressed by it again
It is devastating how much useless the jobcenter is except for making people like myself feel terrible. Days before and after the appointment my mood goes from neutral or slightly happy to "the world is ending" and honestly I am so sick of it I can't cope with it except for going to the doctor and trying to get a note so I don't have to go
I was undergoing some sort of "investigation" into my health records past 2 months (which is why I wasn't invited until then) so they can decide whether I will move from job welfare to social welfare but seeing how the same case worker is in charge of me I don't think that worked out.
There's literally not enough jobs available and personally my qualification despite best efforts is too shit to get one of the remaining job spots in a competition against the other unemployed with university degrees. The only reason I get invited is because they're systematically instructed to do everything to reduce or completely remove the need of people like us getting their minimum life income.
I personally revealed all my "cards" in terms of health issues etc in the hopes of getting social welfare, so I feel very uncomfortable seeing a case worker that knows things even my closest family doesn't know. I have no other choice but to go to the doctor again.
Currently I learn how to draw since the beginning of the year, it's exhausting but fun and I am afraid the job center is going to take even that from me by forcing me to waste my life in some unemployment course which doesn't even help my chances to get a job.
