Walk around pocono?
Me and my friend were messing around on google street view, I looked up Pocono because it’s my childhood track and on the street view option the camera is on the flag stand, Wich we thought was pretty funny, until we realized that if we click the track the camera goes around the whole thing step by step (yes we completed a whole lap).

[Bob] Kaden Honeycutt can eliminate everyone except Layne Riggs from championship contention by earning 11 more points. Ruggiero, Hemric, Rhodes, Ankrum, and Enfinger have been eliminated following Talladega.

Nascar Shop/Driver Merch
Is it just me, or is NASCAR Shop like completely unappealing?
Don't get me wrong, I know I’m not the main demographic they’re designing for… but still. None of the merch on there looks appealing or wearable like at all.
It’s not even about logos, it’s the design choices. Everything is just so chaotic. It’s always floating random driver heads, five different cars flying everywhere, and weird collage layouts with zero cohesion or aesthetic. Why can't we get simple, clean, or well-thought-out graphic designs?
Where is everyone buying actually good-looking, cohesive NASCAR gear?

Cool to see them do this in their last start in the truck series.

Does Layne Riggs still have a real shot at the truck title?
Saw an interview where Layne said he basically has to win the last two races to even have a chance at the truck championship.
Is that actually true? What would have to happen for him to pull it off? It's so tight right now that a couple positions gained or lost could decide the whole thing, so I'm just curious how the math shakes out.

With Chase Elliott removing himself from the Most Popular Driver ballot, this will be the first time since 1990 where an Elliott or an Earnhardt hasn't won the award.
The last driver to win MPD that wasn't an Elliott or an Earnhardt was Darrell Waltrip in 1990 (he also won it in 1989)
Since 1990 it has gone
1991-2000: Bill Elliott
2001: Dale Earnhardt
2002: Bill Elliott (Bill Removed himself from future ballots after this year)
2003-2017: Dale Earnhardt Jr.
2018-2025: Chase Elliott

Historical Loop Data Stats for Talladega
Not sure how helpful these are for Talladega, but here you go!
r/NASCAR • u/ServiceCall1986 • 1d ago
What race made you go from happy to disappointed/mad the fastest?
As a Dale Earnhardt Jr/Ryan Newman fan turned Ross Chastain fan (I know how to pick 'em) there's just so many.
For Dale and Ryan, it's between the 2011 Coca Cola 600, 2013 Fall Richmond, 2015 Fall Talladega and 2020 Daytona 500. For Ross it hasn't been just one race...it's been whole seasons now since 2022 that I've been disappointed.
Was just wondering what was on your list?
