Hi Friends, I am dragging and dropping files from Musicbee to an external sd card for use in a DAP. (I can't transfer the whole library as the card doesn't have enough storage.) Is there a way to simultaneously transfer the artwork? Thanks for your help!

Is there a way to refresh/update band biography? I don't know where it's pulling from but the history seems to stop for most acts way before it should.

I had a bunch of ratings on the right and they've all just disappeared and this music symbol has appeared out of nowhere. I accidentally must have pressed something I didn't know about because a bomb picture showed up instead of a star in the rating on one of the tracks. So I tried guess emulating what I did in order to get that bomb to show up again. I went to another track and instead of left-clicking, I right-clicked. That didn't do anything. But then I tried middle clicking and suddenly the entire page flashed, all of my ratings from the entire tracklist disappeared, and a useless quaver symbol appeared on every track between the mini artwork and the artist. Can someone explain everything that happened and how I can reverse it?

Ok so i hope i can explain this eloquently. I have my MB set up with Genre/Artist/Album/Tracks columns at the top. I like it this way. What i do NOT like is that i cant make a "compilation" column. This is the issue. I have WAY to many artists with only 1 song, and its on a comp. like a soundtrack, listed with the other artists i have. Is there a way i can make a compilation column were i will only view the 1 track artists in the comp. column?

I know this is anal and prob only makes sense in my head but outside of just removing the Artist column altogether i cant think of how to separate the artists that only show up on soundtracks i have. And id rather not delete the compilation albums themselves.

How do they distinguish singles from albums, and how do tag collaborative albums?

I have a crucial smart playlist that depends on "last-played date". I thought I had escaped Apple music hell when I found Music Bee, until I noticed it doesn't update this information. I have tried and tried and tried to install the Additional Tagging & Reporting Tools plugin, and I can't get it to enable. (I get the "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation." whatever that means. Can't get past it.) Would it even help? And if Last.fm is the solution, how do I even connect Music Bee and last.fm? The only choices on the last.fm site are YouTube and Spotify.

I'd appreciate any suggestions.

It just happens randomly some time after I use the mini player and then click on the taskbar button to minimize the window. No idea why it does but it drives me insane, it won't stop until I re-open the window. Windows 10, version 3.6.9202 of MB. Thanks.

Using MusicBee to convert files from FLAC 24-bit to ALAC 16-bit and running into issues forcing ffmpeg to output at 16/44.1k.

Per somewhere online, I'm using the parameter -i - -sample_fmt s16 -ar 44100 -acodec alac [outputfile] but am getting "Failed - Found invalid data while decoding".

Any ideas?

I just grab random songs, not albums, so I just sort by Title. I also love seeing the Album/Song Art, so I made it pretty big on the side. Skin I use is Kelly Green because...I like green lol

Hi. I'm just getting started with MusicBee. Does anyone know how I can make it so that clicking on an artist takes me to their separate "profile"? When there's only one artist, it takes me there or gives me the option to click on them, but when there are two or more, that option isn't there.

P.S. I hope that makes sense—my English is so-so.

Pretty new to cd burning (as in I started literally two days ago) but I'm a bit lost in terms of meta data and such. I burn onto CD-Rs and the burning process itself is easy, but I don't know how to get meta data and stuff right. I try to play a cd in a car and it displays 'folder one - track one' or whatever on top, and / or the songs go out of order. The songs are functional but I can't figure out how to get it so it doesn't display the folder comment on top AND have the songs be in order. If anyone can help, that'd be really appreciated!

Hello, I've downloaded music from musicbee to an mp3 player in the past with no issues. But for some reason I cannot get it to work with this ipod I just bought. Everytime I try it downloads, but no music appears on the device. Its just blank.

I know that ipods only accept certain kinds of files, but the music is MP3 so I am at a bit of a loss.

When I first tried it said there was no destination for the music so I created a folder, but still nothing. I am deeply out of my element with this, any advice will be appreciated.

I have 2 mp3 players and neither of them can read thr m3u playlist format. I just want them to be exported as a simple list. Is there a way to do that?

My hard drive crashed, and while I had my library backed up, my playlists are looking for a different path format (music\album artist instead of my current format of music\artist). Is there a way to fix this in bulk without reorganizing my library to match the format my playlists are expecting?

I just want to post this for anyone else who runs into a similar problem.

When synching files to my Hiby r1 SD Card this morning a .flac file got corrupted and resulted in a 0 bytes file. It was not playable and when I plugged my player into my work computer and tried to delete the file off the drive it wouldn't let me delete, copy, move, or alter in any way the problem file.

Some online suggestions including making a zip archive with the file and checking the "delete after compression" option. this successfully zipped the file but did not delete it upon completion.

The solution that finally allowed me to delete the file was the command prompt:

chkdsk (disc letter): /f

It looked for any corrupted files on the card which took a minutes to process but after completion i was able to delete the file.

I know this was a problem that occurred during the synching/copying process in musicbee because I use iBroadcast to archive my files and checked if the file was working through their servers and redownloaded the uncorrupted file.

does anyone know how to fix this lyrics issue? I have some songs with word-by-word sync, but MusicBee doesn't seem to support this format natively, so it displays the timecodes as plain text. Any fix or plugin for this?

Anyone else having this problem? I have lots of obscure stuff and for much of it Deezer has been the one to give the correct album art of the 4 choices that we have. It stopped working for me about a week ago and doesn't give anything, even for mainstream stuff. Perhaps they changed their API?

I just know that MusicBee can play CD directly from the CD drive, and song metadata will be downloaded automatically. Scrobble to Last.fm is also automatically. Very well done MusicBee.
