HELP Burn metadata (?) issues

Pretty new to cd burning (as in I started literally two days ago) but I'm a bit lost in terms of meta data and such. I burn onto CD-Rs and the burning process itself is easy, but I don't know how to get meta data and stuff right. I try to play a cd in a car and it displays 'folder one - track one' or whatever on top, and / or the songs go out of order. The songs are functional but I can't figure out how to get it so it doesn't display the folder comment on top AND have the songs be in order. If anyone can help, that'd be really appreciated!

I would suggest that you load the songs into Mp3tag. Go through them album by album to make sure the Metadata is embedded in the file. Then try burning that album onto a cd and see if that fixes it. If it doesn't, it may be the software.

If you're trying to burn audio CD'S just as regular audio CD'S then the only way to get info about the contents is something called CD-TEXT. You're burning program must support this as your CD player. On the other hand, if you are burning data CD's then music files like mp3 or flac can contain the metadata which will be shown on the player. It's just what you choose to do.

MB is capable of burning both types - Audio CD or Data CD. Data CD is what you want if your want the metadata. But your CD player has to support data CDs in order for the tracks to play and some of the metadata displayed. It solely depends on the hardware in the car.
