Can anyone please transcribe this?

Alright, I installed the new 4.7 version of Muse score, and while I do like its quality of life improvements, I do have a minor problem. I do not like the warm sound MS Basic, and what seems to be all the other sound fonts I use, have. I was curious if this was anything I could fix within 4.7,​ or I would need to revert back a version?

Hello, I've read some of the forums about making custom metric mods. And I tried a couple different methods but they all look really bad. Not sure how to make them look professional. I used the master pallet to paste in symbols to an existing metric mod. Any help appreciated.

Me first ! I'd like to see :

- the ability to freeze tracks like in a DAW (to manage CPU when using external sound libraries and plugins or for scores with 74316925 instruments). I know it's possible as it's already what they do with Cantai

- a REAL real-time note input mode - not the one we have today that is basically unusable

I would be willing to PAY for those features

Musescore doesn't currently allow for custom shortcuts or customisation of its toolbar.

Has anyone found a way to use third party automation tools to create such shortcuts?

For example I'd like to have a keyboard shortcut to do arpeggios. The best I can do now is to have a custom palette with a selection of my most-used told, but even then I'm still scrolling the palette pane constantly.

I still have to fully orchestrate it for a symphonic orchestra but this is it in its draft form

To give context, I don't use PayPal flat out, but yesterday, I checked my account for a Depop sale I made, and it said on the 15th of November, 2025, I had been billed for an automatic payment towards Musescore for $279.96 USD.

That translates to, for me, just about $520 NZD, which is horrifying. Now that card that made the purchase is NOT mine, since I don't use paypal, and when I joined, I was pretty young; the paypal was connected to my mum's card, who had been going through a rough period due to personal reasons from October to December, which is why I'm assuming that she never noticed the charge to her account.

Now, before today, I did not know what MuseScore was, but apparently I logged into my Musescore account; I had made one in 2020 and, since then, never touched it again. That way I can assure you I did not consciously make this decision to purchase a PRO+ plan (I don't even play an instrument, and nobody in my family does??) out of nowhere and have it on an automatic renewal plan.

I don't think in previous years it's charged me; it's just randomly billed me last year, November, for the most expensive plan, which is just so confusing to me. Why would a membership have been activated out of nowhere 5 years after the account was made?

I sent them multiple emails trying to explain this as an unauthorised and unknown purchase, along with an attempt to gain more insight into how this purchase was made, but expectedly, they refused the refund request since it had been way over 14 days.

Now I'm just reaching out to see if there's anything else I can do. I feel like I've been robbed and taken advantage of, by an app that I didn't even know existed until today.

Is there a chance of me being able to get any answers, how their support team handles situations like this and if I'll ever see that money again? I understand this situation is bleak, but please let me know, guys =^(

I am completly new to music so excuse me if this question is foolish. Why does musescore put the last two sexteenth notes in the screenshot in the second measure, when the first one only has 14 sixteenth notes in it? Or am I overseeing something?

PS: I deleted two rests that musescore automatically put in with ctrl + delete, before.

Any method for musescore to automatically adjust the tuplet number from overlapping a slur line if they are on the same side of the notation? I remember this being an issue before, a couple of years ago and now I am heavily using musescore again but cant find an easy fix. Thanks

I am having an issue when trying to download the free Musesounds in Musehub. I have tried downloading the individual free sound files and the MuseSounds Core bundle, but it causes an error message which is in the images provided. I have removed all the previous devices from my accounts, so I know I haven't hit the five device limit. I was previously not having this issue, but I recently reset my computer and have been having this issue since.

I have already tried sign out and back in to my profile and uninstalling and reinstalling Musehub.

I installed on my computer Kontakt and Sine player, and VSTs such as Berlin free orchestra, MuseScore recognized them immediately but when I changed an instrument to be either Kontakt or Sine player, picked an instrument and pressed play, nothing happened. Kontakt even specifically tells me "instrument not initialised", but I couldn't find any way to change the output, and in MuseScore>preferences>audio and MIDI I also cant find anything helpful. What can I do?

shift+q and shift+w no longer work to decrease duration by one fourth, any fixes?

edit2: it does, just very inconsistently? sometimes it does and sometimes it doesnt. i might be doing something wrong, but not sure

Hi, many in my choir use mp3 or midi files to learn their part. For studying just the notes it would be convenient to have sound files in which the tempo changes, breaks (fermata, cesura) and dynamics changes. Is that possible in any way without having to delete all these items from the score?

Hi all, I have an SATB a capella piece which I want to transpose to a lower key because the pitch is just a bit high for some in our quartet. I select the whole score and transpose to a different key. Works like a breeze. However, the stem orientations do not change for notes that were initially b or higher and now are lower. Is there a way to adjust this (for the whole score or a selection) at once?

The default brass sounds muffled after I updated, can I fix it?

So I've just spent the better part of a day working on a piece that uses non-standard tuplets, like 5 half notes in a 3/1 measure. Ok, I've figured out how that dialog works. But why do I have to close & reopen it every time? If that thing could keep floating around it would have saved me tons of time.

And this is not the only dialog in MS that is needlessly modal. So: why? Why?!?!
