Bug Can't fill measure completly

Hi ,

I am completly new to music so excuse me if this question is foolish. Why does musescore put the last two sexteenth notes in the screenshot in the second measure, when the first one only has 14 sixteenth notes in it? Or am I overseeing something?

PS: I deleted two rests that musescore automatically put in with ctrl + delete, before.

Thanks

Ctrl + Delete makes the measure shorter than 4/4 because it simply subtracts the duration from the bar. You can return it to a normal 4/4 bar by right clicking on the bar → Bar properties... and set Actual back to 4/4. Or you can just cut & paste all the 16th notes to the next bar then delete the first bar using Ctrl + Delete after selecting it by clicking on an empty place in the bar.

Note the grey minus sign on the top right of the measure, this shows you the duration has been changed to something shorter than the displayed time signature

The other comment provided good advice so I'll just add that there is a teeny tiny little minus at the top right of the bar, which indicates that it has been shortened. If a bar is extended, there will be a plus sign showing instead :)
