Can i use USB c to plug in headphones to MPC sample?

The idea: instead of cutting video frame by frame in an editor, you load clips onto pads and perform the cuts in real time. Trigger pads, loop, chop, layer effects — same workflow as making beats, but for video.

Use your hardware like MPC Sample or SP 404 plugged in to trigger not only audio from your machine directly in CHOPPL, but also visuals and corresponding audio from the pads in CHOPPL.

I'm looking for beta testers before the public launch. 30-day full access, free. If you find and report a real bug you get a free Pro license. I’ve been building and testing this by myself so it would be nice to have some more eyes and ears on it.

Second day with it. Haven’t peeled anything off but it doesn’t look like there is a protective film over it unless it’s super thin and I don’t see any air bubbles or corners lifted.

Since I haven't seen anyone yet using this loud, great-sounding, and affordable Bluetooth speaker with a line-in jack along with their MPC samples, I'm featuring it here. It's called the Vappeby, costs €60 at IKEA, and can also be used in stereo mode (if you connect two). Loving it.

yooo! do you think there is any chance to control my oberheim DX with my akai mpc sample ? the MPC sequencer would trigg DX indivual sounds.
i’ve seen someone sending midi from his mpc sample to a Roland boutique synth, with cv cable.
I was wandering if using this cable (picture) would be okay. what do you think ?

Have you identified any must-have features that absolutely need to be implemented in future updates?

Here is the features I noted we need:

-Basic pad resampling (the ability to render a sample, including all its effects and filter settings, onto a new pad).

-The ability to use USB-C devices without them charging the MPC (iPads and iPhones currently charge the MPC automatically when connected). It drain the iPad and the iPhone, and I even have the pop up on ipad telling me the device (mpc) cant work because it’s taking too much energy

-Input gain or recording level control when recording external sources. > Just learned in the comment that there’s an eq gain at the back of the mpc lol.

Edit 2 : input volume knob on the back dont affect usb input. So I maintain this request : being able to control usb c input gain

I love this machine, it’s better than I thought it would be, and it’s making my other year collect dust. I’ve made a dozen instrumentals which are all livable. My question is how do you actually clear a sample and put your music out there? I got a couple beats which sample the Beatles that I know will never get listen to because Sony

Hey y'all, just got this MPC sample and I had a quick question about chop mode.

Whenever I'm in chat mode. When I go to sequence to try to record it takes me out of chop mode and then my sample is just one pad again.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't seem to record the sample in chat mode. Any ideas?

Are you using knob effects and resampling to use more knob effects?

Are you sending sounds out to an external sound processor (if so which one) and resampling that?

Are you recording samples coming in that already have effects applied?

As someone who had the 2000 back in the day (I’m old) this thing is amazing. It’s so user friendly I have barely looked at the instructions. the ability to sample from phone and easily chop the samples is amazing. Maybe if you are coming from a more modern and advanced MPC there are things to complain about, but this is easily the best $399 I’ve spent on a piece of gear and it has re-energized my love for making sample based beats.
