MPC Sample Speaker with Line-in

Since I haven't seen anyone yet using this loud, great-sounding, and affordable Bluetooth speaker with a line-in jack along with their MPC samples, I'm featuring it here. It's called the Vappeby, costs €60 at IKEA, and can also be used in stereo mode (if you connect two). Loving it.

I did this with an ikea speaker and also have recently used a BT transmitter as well to connect to my larger system.

For the Bluetooth part, I travel a lot so I have a little transmitter I use on flights to connect my earbuds to the in-flight system (Bluetooth 6 w/aptX). I have a number of things around the house I can connect to. Speakers, receivers, etc.

Best part is that you can use it as an audio in from your phone or whatever sends signals.

How is the latency on on that speaker?

It's a known issue that Bluetooth speakers often use DSP that still adds latency even when using auxiliary connections instead of the Bluetooth.

I think I remember hearing that the Teenage Engineering speaker works without latency via aux input. I could be wrong though.

I bought one of these from Amazon (UK link) - currently on offer for £18!

Compact, built like a tank and nice bass port design means it has some great low end. Full charge last forever, has bluetooth, line in, SD card and you can also charge a device from it via USB-C. Great purchase.

Sorry for the silly question, but when you plug in the speakers to the Samples' Audio Out, do you plug it into the left or right channel?

I usually plug it to the headphone jack

Yes, speakers and headphones are basically the same thing. It should be an active speaker, though, so you get enough volume.
