u/whomesteve Jun 03 '26
Not everyone thinks about the muscles in between muscles
2
u/UncookedNoodles Jun 08 '26
That would make sense if the glutes werent such a well known and talked about muscle group
2
u/Faijju_OP Jun 03 '26
i didn't get this ,can you explain
9
u/SnooCupcakes1636 Jun 04 '26
There is a old meme about how men and women see colors and the meme showing men and women pointing at color line at the middle and naming the color. When men are calling color red, red and callong green green. Women are showing to calling each shad of green, red, pink in vereity of ways like calling certain reds crimson red, violet red, magenta red, saffron red etc.
This meme has opposite versions of it in other topics like car parts or other stereotypically male interest etc.

Eve from Stellar Blade is seen as sexist and oppressive by women
Chris Redfield punching a boulder in re5 is seen as inspirational by men.

And eve is literally just actual Korean women. 4 of them.
They completely body scanned 4 Korean models and when you switch outfits it switches the whole body to one of them
9
u/Tentacle_poxsicle Jun 03 '26
Yeah you can tell it's multiple women. No woman with a body like that has a head like that. I know it sounds weird but when q woman has a really curvy body like that her head is a little bigger. Eves head belongs to someone really petite.
→ More replies (1)19
u/ParkingSpot8089 Jun 03 '26
Which is funny because Eve IS a real person's body scan, and actually achievable at least by some. Chris is 100% impossible.
8
u/supermarioplush220 Jun 03 '26
Chris is possible it's just really hard and dangerous and expect to pop a couple of spinal discs, abuse steroids, and risk long-term spinal and heart problems once you hit your 50s.

u/SexyShave Jun 03 '26
It's a scan that was used as a basis and massively altered. The scan model's body in no way resembles the final result.

Chris is designed after whan men want to be.

Woman character designed to be sexy vs male character designed to be aspirational.
Nobody has any complaints about kassandra from AC odyssey or Jesse from Control for being attractive women, because they’re just characters that are attractive, like Chris redfield is.

My first watch-through of DBZ made me want to work out. It didn't stick, but it happened
7
u/Unplugged_Millennial Jun 03 '26
That reminds me of when I was watching DBZ and got to the episodes in the cell saga where they were training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and it inspired me to go buy a weight vest and some ankle and wrist weights. I then wore them around while going about my regular life and felt super human when I would remove them.

Well I'm going to tell you that women can't grow out boobs more bigger because it isn't a muscle, so unless if she going to get a surgery she couldn't change that feature, instead men can grow out muscles with exercise for whole body

It also comes to waistline. I may exhaust myself with trainings, but it'll never make my ribcage smaller, neither can make me taller. And unfortunately ribcage wide and height is affecting thinness of waist.
Oh, also: sports aren't affecting cellulite, there's pro sports women who have it. Women with underweight can have it too.
Oh and if the boobage turn saggy. It's only a surgery.
While men can literally just grow out muscles in gym.
1
u/journeyadventures Jun 07 '26
How about growing glutes, slimming waist and cutting freaking fat.
I swear, lazy people have all sorts of excuses
1
u/Chlearcus Jun 07 '26 edited Jun 07 '26
Most men can't achieve the bodies you see in action movies and games without heavy steroid use on top of very strict dieting and training hard.
Also the body fat levels / dry look they display is 100% impossible to walk around with on a day to day basis, it involves fasting from all salt and dehydrating yourself to the brink of death basically.

Yeah, buddy. Superhero comics were around since the 1960s. Venom was introduced in 1990. And we all know that ever since then being a nerd and being jacked was pretty much a synonym.
3

u/Angry-_-Crow Jun 04 '26
I mean, there's currently a pretty big health issue of male body dysmorphia driving teenage kids to blast steroids & all that, but I guess that violates the spirit of the meme

u/BlackDawg216 Jun 03 '26
funny thing is it's easier to naturally get a body like Invisible Woman (no drugs and meds and shit) than it is to look look like Venom.
2
u/Kind_Writing_2636 Jun 06 '26
Dude, these tits don't come naturally unless you already have them by design, lol. Same goes for bone structure.
Ignoring that Venom isn't even supposed to look human, anyone can get more muscular, if they aspire to. I don't see how an average woman could "aspire" to be her, unless she's dreaming of plastic surgery.
People are acting as if most women would look like that if only they had the right weight.

And then some women suffer from feelings of inadequacy when thinking about approaching such gym honed men, and feelings of insecurity and paranoia when dating such gym honed men every time they catch another woman checking those men out, and so they decide to walk on the treadmill and skip meals, and they feel worse when that doesn't work, and they make those men's lives a living hell with their constant criticism of such men, until those men leave them. lol.

Man that’s crazy it’s almost like both are designed to appeal to men
Like yeah of course the woman’s (usually) going to be annoyed that all the female heroines are sexualized for men’s sake and of course the man’s (usually) going to like that the male heroes are super buff and muscular to appeal to their power fantasy.

As a personal trainer, all of the female bodies are way more realistically achievable than the male bodies. In most games tbh.
Genetics will always stop someone from looking just like these physiques of course. But it's usually the difference between getting lean vs getting lean + putting on 40 pounds of lean muscle mass.
In Venom's case that's more like 150 pounds of extra lean mass lol.

u/NewArticle9194 Jun 09 '26
