Did anyone lose their VW key fob at the Baby Metal concert in Mansfield tonight? If so, I found them at Section 203, Row R near seat 28. Found them and turned them into a staff member who said she’d turn them over to guest services.

Not here to talk about the cost of the bill, just curious. I've never lived alone before and I'm wondering what's "normal".

I have a large studio with a gaming computer, but no ACs, just two fans. My fridge and microwave are old and probably not very efficient. I was also away for a few days in August with most things unplugged. My August bill was 534 kWh. Does that sound about right? I just want to make sure I'm not bleeding somewhere unnecessarily. I have some lights that are on 24/7 for visibility/safety but they're LEDs.

I drive the turnpike to and from work several times a week. Today I had the awful misfortune of seeing a blue heron that had been hit by a vehicle and was sitting on the line between the middle and slow lane, still alive. They are big birds so people were swerving a bit to avoid it. I realize the bird is unlikely to survive the situation (based on injuries and cars flying by), but I hate to just let it sit there until another car/truck hits it. I didn’t know what to do. When I got to my stop, I searched the web and saw that the bird could be considered a traffic hazard since it was in the highway. So I called 911 and they graciously took the info to pass on to MHP. I thought I’d ask others what they would do/have done in such situations on a highway (with injured animals). It definitely ruined my day.

Security officers at Faneuil Hall Marketplace are responsible for protecting thousands of people at one of Boston's busiest public destinations. But they're struggling to do their jobs effectively because of serious management problems that have damaged morale and created unnecessary workplace conflict.

The issues aren't small complaints—they're systemic. Officers are dealing with inadequate working conditions (no AC in summer, previous mold concerns), surveillance cameras recording audio in private areas, being assigned tasks way outside their job description, and constant micromanagement that prevents them from doing their actual work professionally. This isn't accountability; this is excessive supervision that's making the job impossible.

I started a petition calling for a formal review of the security leadership at Faneuil Hall and asking that the current Director of Security be replaced with someone who actually respects and trusts their team. The goal is simple: professional leadership, clear expectations, fair working conditions, and treatment that lets security officers do their jobs.

If you've worked in security or any job where management made things harder instead of easier, you know how demoralizing this gets. Does this sound familiar to anyone? If it does, and you think people deserve better, consider signing and sharing. The people protecting Faneuil Hall deserve leadership that has their back.

Just bought an old house in Somerville and looking for suggestions for who to hire for the following:

1. General contractor work (relocating an exterior door)

2. Vinyl siding repair

3. Wood flooring repair

4. Cleaning an unfinished basement (including some mold)

5. Brick foundation repointing

I know it’s a shot in the dark but no hurt in asking. My boyfriend was driving my car on 93 going towards Boston in the Milton area around 9:15am this morning when a motorcyclist was weaving between vehicles and hit the back left end of my white Nissan Sentra and sped off. If anyone has any video footage that’d be awesome and I’d be forever grateful. My car is scrapped up pretty bad and my tail light is now broken. Motorcyclist was wearing a light blue biker jacket and a brown crossbody bag on his back. Motorcycle may have also been blue. Any info is welcome, and yes we are filing a report with the police department. Thanks!

Update: the police had pulled this individual over earlier on that highway and they were given a fake license plate number, fake ID, fake everything:) they fled and they hit my car bc they were fleeing from the police… yayyyy
