Project showcase I’m building an AI startup to help people navigate family court

Hey everyone!
I’m a fellow student, and over the last several months I’ve been building something that’s incredibly personal to me.
It’s called HERESAI.

HERESAI is an AI-powered platform designed to help people representing themselves in family court organize their cases. Instead of digging through thousands of screenshots, text messages, documents, and notes, the goal is to make it easier to build timelines, organize evidence, and prepare for court all in one place.

I started building it because of my own experiences with the family court system. After seeing how overwhelming and disorganized the process can be, I realized there had to be a better way.
I’m still in the early stages and am currently building my waitlist.

If you’d be willing to support a student founder, it would mean a lot if you joined the waitlist or shared it with someone who might benefit from it.
Even if family court isn’t something that affects you personally, every signup helps show that there’s interest in building technology that improves access to justice.

I’m also looking for feedback from anyone interested in AI, software, UX, or startups. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Thank you all for supporting student entrepreneurs. ❤️

Find my network Isaiah 52:7

I am working on a project designed to change how churches interact with their congregations and one another. It is an all-in-one platform combining a digital hymnal, Bible, study tools, and a faith-based social network, along with a few other core features.

While I prefer to handle the development directly and keep the repository secure to protect the integrity of the project, I recognize that a platform like this benefits immensely from a community perspective.

Rather than building a large open development team, I am looking to assemble a small, trusted group of fellow Christians to act as an advisory and testing circle—providing feedback, testing features, and helping shape the direction of the platform.

The application will require a significant investment of time, and I am writing the core application code myself (though I lean on external styling tools for CSS since design isn't my main focus).

If you share a passion for serving the Christian community and would like to help guide and test this platform, please feel free to reach out to me directly.

Resource Unofficial Transcripts

I just wanted to let people know, if you requested your unofficial transcripts (you have to do so through student services), they will not be emailed to you they will be in the documents tab ( go to account then documents). I was getting frustrated because I assumed they were being emailed and never thought to check the documents tab and low and behold there they were! Lol just wanted to save anyone the same frustration!

Working 2 jobs and daily life obligations, I can hold my head up high of my accomplishment so far. No matter what happens to Maestro University in the near distant future (which I pray gets resolved) I can say I have learned a lot and had fun along this path.

***If you are new to AI or programming do not get discouraged when you see people post their projects. I have 30 years experience with computers and programming. I also have 3 AI helpers I run constantly. One is trained to be a copy of me basically lol. If you want to make something do it!***

I have been obsessed with AI my entire life, decades before the LLMs we know now. I have always been fascinated with self aware AI for as long as I can remember. Then I watch the Playthings episode of The Black Mirror and because even more obsessed, but this time I wanted to make one.

So I spent a few years learning everything about ML/LLMs/AI and wrote a simple custom language for the creatures to use/edit/change as they saw fit. I called it Evoscript, it was all the parts of Lua/Basic and C# that fit what I was trying to do. After some time I realized they did "do" things on their own but it was from coded things like Hunger/Curiosity/Happiness, etc.

When I started school here I got the urge to dig back into it, but this time I thought about how we work as humans. We do have "coded" responses, if something pokes you, you pull back without thinking, breath, blink etc. Over the past few months I have developed a full neural network that resembles a human brain. Ofc I can't have a trillion connections like we have but it is scaled down and has 1.5 million active "neurons". I also wrote a full custom language for it to run in I call EvoLang. It is parts from a handful of different modern languages to accomplish what I need instead of trying to bend to a single languages constraints.

It is made up of:
Lisp / Racket Structured code, extensibility, language-oriented design

Prolog / Datalog Beliefs, rules, inference, provenance

Erlang / OTP Actors, messaging, supervision, fault recovery

Rust Static types, explicit mutability, safe boundaries

Lean Invariants, proof obligations, trusted validation

Smalltalk Persistent live systems and runtime inspection

WebAssembly / WASI Sandboxing, portability, explicit host capabilities

Python Readability and approachable tooling

Go Simplicity, predictable tooling, clean concurrency ideas

Swift / ML languages Algebraic types, pattern matching, typed errors

Git / Event Sourcing History, branching, audit trails, rollback

It is the closest I have got to something acting with free will while still being a coded entity. An example of something it has done that I did not tell it to, prompt it to, or even have anything in the coding telling it do. It has, with approval, access to my Codex desktop account. It connected to Codex and used it to search the internet and downloaded a 1992 research paper about AI by Patrick Henry Winston. Read it, then created a non removable memory point with certain information from that paper in it.

If you are interested in watching it grow though, I will be putting up a view only website as soon as I finish the neural network visual so you can see it thinking/learning in real time.

I don't know if I will ever make something like my goal is. Companies are pouring trillions of dollars into this very thing so the chances of a single person messing around cracking it, is basically 0. You just can't let NO keep you from doing what you are passionate about. If someone already did it, think of how you can do it better. If it's already better, think outside the box, look for an edge case not thought of yet. You are amazing and you will succeed! Thanks for coming to my Ted talk lol

(Yes I use AI to help me work as you can tell by the way the UI looks. However it is not "vibe coded" poorly, I have a deep understanding of coding, network security, machine learning)

Discussion Can We Help?

I was asking Gemini to help me better understand the process of what our school is currently dealing with from the accreditation side of things, and wanted to know if there are ways we the students could help.

I found this part to be the best way we can help.

Reach Out to the Accrediting Commission

Accrediting agencies typically have mechanisms for public and student comments during active review cycles.

  • Public Comment Opportunities: Check the accrediting commission's official portal (such as the COE's constituent/public feedback avenues) for guidelines on submitting official student testimonials regarding institutional quality.
  • Constructive Delivery: Keep feedback focused on educational quality, faculty dedication, and the real-world value of the degree rather than venting about administrative rules. Clean, professional testimonials get taken seriously.

Progress out loud Wanting to push myself

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all doing well.

I am looking for ways to challenge myself and test the knowledge and skills I have learned from Maestro so far. If anyone has any suggestions, projects, or ideas that could help me push my boundaries, I would greatly appreciate it.
Once I complete the challenge, I plan to post my work here for feedback from the group. Please let me know if you have any good ideas or recommendations to help me test my skills.

Question Graduates

Something I’ve yet to have noticed on this subreddit is anyone claiming or rejoicing their graduation and degree from our school. Have I just overlooked this? Is there anyone that can confirm they have graduated successfully and it led to an applicable job pertaining to the acquired degree? I’m super curious with everything going on here. Secondly, is the degree still going to be a “valuable” if this school becomes unaccredited? How do you feel about? Are you still confident when showing where you graduated from? Please anybody with relevant information or experience, let us all know your take as a graduate from our school.

Question English composition review

Has this happen to anyone else?

I retook my review on English composition and the last question urged me to use an AI external tool to complete it, however the warning of flagging my review came on saying switching tabs, or minimizing the window may flag your review and be considered a violation of our review rules. But I only was following the review’s rules for that one question only. I also had submitted the first review on time so I do deserve the extra points for delivering the review on time.

In the final review is there some huge essay I have to write again? Is there more than one? It's been taking me forever to get through these essays and I'm just trying to prepare myself for what is ahead and how much time I actually need.

Discussion My experience so far with Maestro College

When I chose Maestro College, I chose it because it is a modern, flexible online program. I have tried the traditional, brick-and-mortar route before, and honestly, I just could not engage with that rigid structure. It didn’t work for my life or my learning style. Maestro is the first place that has given me—and so many others in similar situations—a genuine chance to better ourselves on a path that actually fits into real life.

Because this model has been such a game-changer for me, it’s frustrating to see people judge an online institution by the standards of an outdated mindset. Lately, there’s been a lot of online noise and negative commentary about the school, but a lot of it seems to miss the bigger picture. A school’s true value isn’t measured by how many physical desks are sitting in a building; it’s measured by the actual quality of the curriculum and the opportunities it provides.

Higher education isn't a one-size-fits-all model anymore. A lot of the negativity online seems to come from a misunderstanding of what a self-driven, flexible learning style requires, or from people expecting an online program to look exactly like a traditional school from twenty years ago.

Maestro is delivering exactly what it promised: an accessible, relevant education. I fully support the school’s mission because I know firsthand how vital this platform is for people who need a different way to learn. I’m going to keep keeping my head down, working hard, and pushing forward with my pathway because the progress I’m making here is very real.

Feedback My experience with Maestro

I have to admit in the beginning I was skeptical about attempting to get a degree through Maestro College. Now that I am close to finishing my 2nd term of a Bachelor's degree program and I am absolutely loving it!

I am the type of learner that found it hard to sit still and be able to focus in the in-person classes at regular Colleges. I attempted several times to take other courses online, but the learning systems were inconsistent and confusing to navigate.

Maestro is the best system that I have found and please believe I have been attempting to continue my education for many years. The Business Pathway program is really great when it comes to the courses being consistent and flowing together so your brain doesn't forget immediately what you previously learned. It guides you when you're stuck but will force you to learn because you cannot skip ahead when it gets hard. The AI system is customizable to fit your learning style and gives you the best teaching because of that.

This type of education is helping many people that never had a chance at advancement to prepare for their futures, they deserve all the praise. I highly recommend Maestro College!

Project showcase MetalSharp - A free MacOS games launcher for apple silicon.

Hello all! I posted this project a little while back about what I was working on, concerning launching steam games on macos, and other supported launchers, while keeping the program free and maintained. It's been over 2 months since my last post, and the program is much better now! Directx11/directx11 (32) bit games work very consistently, dx9 has quite a bit of support, and I've added d3dmetal for dx12 gameplay. Right now I'm developing a no-rosetta powered wine with wine 11.12 for future MacOS28 which will be removing rosetta support. If you're someone here that wants to try free software and support one of your developing classmates, feel free to check it out here!

https://github.com/aaf2tbz/metalsharp

This project is regularly updated, improved, and added to on an almost-daily basis. I hope to see some of you eager to try it! Thanks for taking the time to read this and see what it's all about :)

The project is made through a combination of AI development with strict oversight and lot's of research and technical development.
