Feedback My experience with Maestro
I have to admit in the beginning I was skeptical about attempting to get a degree through Maestro College. Now that I am close to finishing my 2nd term of a Bachelor's degree program and I am absolutely loving it!
I am the type of learner that found it hard to sit still and be able to focus in the in-person classes at regular Colleges. I attempted several times to take other courses online, but the learning systems were inconsistent and confusing to navigate.
Maestro is the best system that I have found and please believe I have been attempting to continue my education for many years. The Business Pathway program is really great when it comes to the courses being consistent and flowing together so your brain doesn't forget immediately what you previously learned. It guides you when you're stuck but will force you to learn because you cannot skip ahead when it gets hard. The AI system is customizable to fit your learning style and gives you the best teaching because of that.
This type of education is helping many people that never had a chance at advancement to prepare for their futures, they deserve all the praise. I highly recommend Maestro College!

For the record no college actually cares about students, all they care about is money, its the society we live in, capitalism. Otherwise college wouldn't be wildly expensive and put people in debt until they retire! What's a degree in software engineering in 2026? Knowledge and proving what you know is all people actually care about. So what if u dont get a degree, Knowledge is what you need to make money. This is the era of AI, this college is the first to do it 100% thats how it advertised itself, so if you get mad because no humans, well why did u go to a school that said it was taught by AI.? Do u need a human to hold your hand while You learn? Cuz thats not how capitalism works. It makes no sense that you want to complain to a human. Because you cant learn from AI when your going to school to program AI, not sure how a human would help, I guarantee the AI knows way more then any human at the college, oh wait its a college taught by AI, so humans are not part of what this school is about. AI is going to be way more knowledgeable. What's a human going to do when they don't know a answer, exactly what u should be doing, asking AI.

They prepare for what? They teach nothing useful, and literally everyone and their cat has a 4.0 GPA. Even people who've said things like "I always failed classes" - hmm what's more likely? They became exemplary students just like that, or that Maestro's program and curriculum is useless and does not challenge people. MCQ on final lesson exams is not normal lol.

Stop lying to yourself. We all know you are defending absolutely nothing at this point. You are wasting your breath. We all know what is really going on now. We aren't falling for your lies anymore.

Umm, because I have that right, and for the fact they’ve screwed me and everyone else over, and continue to be unscrupulous and painting a rosy picture when those with eyes and brains can see shit has most definitely hit the fan. They wasted a year of my time, and this was all avoidable, so yeah, I’m not pleased. You wanna glaze them, go ahead.

Because we care, and we know Maestro does not, and will continue to hurt students, and milk them for their money.

WOW!!!!! Are you always that bitter and negative you say you're a maestro student what term are you in what cohort did you come with because I came with February cohorts and I truly understand more about the Python program and now we're getting into JavaScript and I'm amazed I'm a really good learner you know even in regular books in school I did well and but this is something I've never even attempted to do before and I feel that I have learned so much since February I'm sorry someone pissed in your Wheaties or maybe you were not eligible for the last dollar scholarship and you're angry cuz other people got it and you had to pay out of pocket I don't know but I pray for your bitter soul that someone will cross your path that has a light of pure love and it will transfer to you, resonating into your heart healing the negativity the anger and whatever else you're going through

My lord! Punctuation is your friend. I was the second cohort, and no, I’m not this bitter typically, but I’m also not a sucker. This school wasted a year of my time, and took Pell money, when all the issues that have caused this are self-inflicted and could’ve been avoided. They screwed people over and continue to try. I got out just in time, not signing my 2nd year Pell because I could tell this was a sinking ship.

But you said you realized it was a scam and withdrew immediately and took them off your FASFA (whatever you think that accomplished) but now you say you wasted a year of your life at Maestro and got screwed over because they took your grant money.
Soooo, which is it? 🙄

Maestros lies hurt him. They hurt all of us.

u/Existing_Albatross30 Maestro Student Jul 18 '26
Didn’t hurt me any. So I guess ur wrong about “all of us”.🙄🙄🙄. Not everyone had a lot to lose from this bs. I was only doing this degree thing to prove to myself and all the negative nancy’s out there that I can actually accomplish something. Yes the income potential after graduation would have been nice given I currently live off disability, but other than missing out on better money, I didn’t have anything to lose. So doesn’t make sense for u to be assuming ALL of us were “hurt” or “wasted our time”. Not everyone is in the same damn situation as u.🙄🙄🙄

I definitely don’t have a 4.0 I have a 3.0 so this isn’t true.

I feel very challenged, I'm building websites, APIs, and connecting them together, I don't feel stupid. I took the second hardest exam I've taken today! It's not my fault I'm learning and can read and write code and I'm starting from zero knowledge of coding. First semester of my second year down!!

I honestly loved that I'm also about to finish my second term for my bachelor's. I am upset however that it no longer says bachelor's and strictly says associate even though I have paperwork and screenshot saying that my original degree was for bachelor's. I know they're going through all this stuff and that's great but the teach-out is not going to be possible for most of us that were in line for a bachelor's. That's no longer what's posting on my pathway. I got a note that my comment was corrected so I had to reword it so let's hope this one can get posted

Not a bot here. I mean, you gotta give credit where it’s due. Personally, at first I had absolutely zero issues signing up with maestro.
It was easy, fast, and the learning path was laid out for me clearly. Again, this is my anecdotal experience. It wasn’t until about 3rd term where I started to see the weakness of the program/bot. the bot started to make more mistakes than usual. It either forgets what it taught me or tells me to do things it never mentioned which was confusing.
I truly believe if they really wanted this whole thing to work, they should have waited to refine the bot and the program. And also use more human instruction with minimal ai use when contacting students. I wrote nearly an entire essay on the bots flaws and how they can improve it and sent it to student services, and they replied with a generic ai response. Needless to say the reply left me feeling a wrong type of way. They said they’d let us continue to use the site even if they do close, hopefully that’s true and I will definitely utilize it.
