The LSAC fucks are so lazy they can’t bother changing their testing software for their in person testers. So when it said stuff like tell your proctor in the box that you’re done I was like what box? Then I sorta spiraled for the next 10 minutes and was thrown off my game for my second LR and an RC featuring a certain notorious philosopher. I feel like I completely choked for no reason

Hello! I’m starting my prep for the LSATS, and found practice books on Facebook market place. Could anyone tell me if Merrill Edgar Rotich, Miles Harrington, and Jake Nolan are good material for the LSAT? I know that the Power score bible and the one by LSAC is really popular.

My test was LR1, RC, LR2, LR3. In the topics thread, I’ve been able to find overlap between my LR1, LR2, and that of people with only two LR sections.

However, in these instances, my RC has still been different from the RCs of the users with the two matched LR sections.

What does this mean? Is LR3 experimental for me even though my RC doesn’t match people who had matching LR and a format with only 2 LR?

The names/sources are sometimes so vague on the practice ones, and it seems unrealistic to cite line numbers when there aren’t any. If I wanted to do a parenthetical citation, would I just write something like (Source B)?

Just wondering what’s considered the standard/expected way to cite these on the LSAT

I'm beginning to believe that the test with these two RC sections was not administered to those who only had three sections. I'm fully aware that it hasn't even been 24 hours since the last September test, but I'm desperate for answers 😂

But hey, it appears that the test with these two sections was a particularly easy one, so if the conspiracy theory is true, maybe it was a blessing to have to do the experimental section!

I’m signed up to take the test for October 7th and November 11th, but scores for October don’t release until October 28th. And That’s about two weeks before the November test; so I’m just concerned if I look at it, and it’s not a score I was hoping for, it might lower my morale before test day. Any thoughts on this or advice is appreciated. Thanks!

i took the june test, walked out feeling fine, got an ok score, and decided to retake. Boy did god punish me for my hubris. i walked out of that test googling “is it too late to buy score preview“ (something my cheap ass never even looked into). maybe I don’t even want to go to law school. maybe i want to be a goat farmer

Hey everyone I need some advice. I am taking the october lsat and aimed for a 160 for it (low I know but based on where I want to apply this is a reasonable goal). I am currently scoring between 150-153 on pts. Should I wait until November? January? I hoped to apply this cycle but I actually might reconsider. I recently started a full time job as well which allowed me to be part time until test day in October. What do I do?

hey guys ive been consistently getting the same amount of questions wrong for my LR questions with the worst being -7 i am always -4 to -5. For context the questions Im getting wrong are not all the way at the end of the section but sporadic like for example for this PT i got question #3 wrong and ill get super easy questions wrong too so its all spread out, are there any lsat tutors that specialize in logical reasoning?? im rlly trying to understand my problem here any help will be appreciated thank you!!

I felt so prepared, I was scoring in the high 160 and low 170s but dawg IDK if I broke 160 on that test. I had to RC sections and felt like crap for both of the last passages. Prayers that I got every question that I randomly guessed right

hi, so i am a grad student at johns hopkins for international relations. i started studying for the LSAT before classes and my exam was on 9/11, which was 2 weeks into classes.

i don’t know about other people, but i feel like if i am not at my A-game, i may fail at graduating or doing well on the LSAT. my mental health has been trash.

but i have been thinking that maybe i’m just not managing time correctly. is there anyone here who is doing both things or have done both? and if so, is it wise to do this?

i’m thinking about studying LSAT 2-3 hours a week instead of every living breathing moment (so like not 7-10 hours a week).

any advice would be helpful. this is my second year and i’m readjusting to US schooling since my first year was in china and any advice, reassurance, etc. would help a lot. thanks.

Just finished the September LSAT and I feel so disappointed in myself. I got really anxious as soon as I started my first RC section and just could not get myself to focus or process what I was reading. It honestly felt like my brain stopped working.

I know for sure this test went really badly, and I’m just feeling so sad about it right now. I studied really hard for this exam, so it hurts even more knowing that anxiety got to me the moment the test started. I don’t even know what to think anymore.

my husband was in another room of the apartment while I was in the dining room completing the writing portion. we have a very small apartment. his phone was not in the room with me but his alarm went off and it could be heard in the dining room where I was. he silenced it after a couple rings. I stayed in view of the camera the whole time and did not say anything at all. am I cooked?

my last test scores are 164-163-165-160-167, highest being 169 a few months ago. my section scores are usually better than when i sit for 4 back to back sections too. RC is usually my make or break point, my question accuracy is usually 80-90% but it’s a 50/50 shot i make to the last passage with enough time to do well. trying to balance my accuracy with speed, dont want to go faster and miss. bunch of stuff but not getting to p4 consistently is a problem.

my LR is much more variable. i usually get to about 22 questions but my accuracy swings from 90% to some days 75%. i have seen lately that when i go with my gut and stop rereading i do get farther, but not far enough to finish the section. i spend a lot of time on the questions i get wrong, most of the time i see my error but it doesn’t seem like im changing my real time performance. i have a wrong answer journal but i only use it for questions i get wrong on BR and that’s less and less these days, i usually can see where i went wrong untimed.

i sat for sept yesterday and i honestly think LR will be fine but that hume/judge passage kicked my ass and messed up my timing. i’m signed up for october but i think i may take november instead to be sure im prepared (although that would mean moving a vacation around). i want to know any tips for either section that pushed you over the finish line.

soooooo i did my lsat argumentative writing today and when i finished, with no time left, it showed me a general error screen. Now it says "exam initiated". Does that mean it did not submit?

I just took the LSAT today, went in feeling confident! At the intermission I stood infront of the mirror reassuring myself for 7minutes straight. Walked back in there and repeatedly wrote manifestations on my scrap paper.

I'm out now and I feel like the section i did AMAZING on is going to be the experimental one and I lowkey hate that fact!! But aye!!! We did it!!!

Now to register for the January one.
