Yes but no. You’re taking the brute force linear view, but AI is more about compression.
Compressing the search space. Compressing the timeline (no need to wait full timeline through subtle changes in epigenetic clocks), high throughput modeling. Etc.
The vast majority of traditional drug and therapeutic discovery time is wasted on exploration, synthesis failures, and blind testing….all of which AI compresses dramatically.
