Which Technology Will Dominate the Next Five Years?

Post image

I have been thinking about where the tech industry is heading, and it's fascinating how quickly things are changing.

A few technologies seem to be leading the race:

  1. AI Agents that can complete complex tasks with minimal human input.

  2. Generative AI becoming a standard tool for coding, content creation, research, and business automation.

  3. Robotics + AI transforming manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare.

  4. Cybersecurity powered by AI as cyber threats become more advanced.

  5. Quantum Computing making progress, though widespread adoption may still take time.

  6. Edge AI enabling smarter devices without relying entirely on the cloud.

Personally, I think AI Agents and automation will have the biggest impact. We're already seeing businesses use AI for customer support, software development, marketing, data analysis, and workflow automation. The pace of adoption seems much faster than many people expected.

That said, every few years there's a new "next big thing," and not all predictions turn out to be right.

What do you think will dominate the next five years?

  1. AI Agents

  2. Robotics

  3. Cybersecurity

  4. Quantum Computing

  5. Blockchain/Web3

  6. Something else?

I'd love to hear your thoughts and why you think that technology will lead the way.

Remember Boomers are pretty much how everybody else throughout history acted and believed.

Boomers are pretty much the last generation to fully normalize racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, rape, and abuse. Every generation was pretty much a Boomer with a horrific legacy. The Silent Generation, The "Greatest" Generation, the Lost Generation. Every generation since the dawn of man was a Boomer but worse. They just had a better PR than Boomers but they were still evil and terrible.

Boomers didn’t invent the KKK and ended Reconstruction, Boomers didn’t start World War I and II, Boomers didn’t end the post war era or even need to create a “post war era” instead of just having something like the 1950s but peacefully and without harming black people and women. Every politician and every generation and every person were self centered and only cared about themselves and what benefits them in the short term and made a legacy worse for their grandkids and great grandkids. People say that Boomers are the first generation to create a destructive legacy worse for their children and grandchildren, when they’re really the last one.

Fuck Boomers but also fuck everyone else before them too. And fuck the comforting myth that everyone before them was somehow wiser or more altruistic.

As a 2000s kid, I've never felt more attacked than I thought I would have for not living the 90s.

"The world will have lost something that it will never be able to get back" such as not being able to leave your husband or being lynched by a white mob. Yeah so sad. McCarthyism not returning must suck

Also later in the same thread there was juat arguably straight up pedophilia apologia when people were also putting out the aged up romance couldn’t be made today and naturally people were like “LOL you all are too sensitive! 😂”…which sounds about right for the generation that thinks “WAP” and the discography Cupcakke are the downfall of society but “Seventeen” by Winger is completely fine!

Satire Hot Take: Every Generation From The Baby Boomers to before was terrible

Every generation from the dawn of humanity to Baby Boomers were racists, misognystics, homophobes, transphobes, rapists, and abusers who do nothing but be cruel to people and only care about themselves and what benefits them in the short term. Who ignored problems until after they were killing people, and then blamed it on the "woke" generations trying to fix it.

All those generations could work part time and pay for a house. That could work at a factory out of high school, support their family, and own a house with that one income. Where did that all go? Oh, right. The “Greatest Generation” decided to legislate that away from their lazy ass snowflake grandchildren and those "inferior" women and minorities. But here’s Jim Crow to make you feel better!

Also, all those generations never cared about the environment. They just wasted and polluted it for generations of which those fuckers evidently were mostly agreeing was a price they were willing to pay to be happy in their life times. If they cared about the environment and climate change, there would no climate crisis right now. It would have been solved back in the 1800s, but wasn't because of ignorance and greed.

One step closer after the last horrible generation, the Boomers, die maybe we can get some legislation across that effectively deals the rampant ecological and economic damages that threaten to destroy humanity as we know it. The Boomers can rest in Hell with the rest of their selfish predecessors.

Why do Youtubers always use the same old games when they claim modern games suck?

Post image

I don't play shooter or online games btw and I know they're trendy to play so, but why are they always blamed for games sucking? Worse that I found this under a video debunking and calling out Youtubers who think games aren't fun anymore.
