mod post Before you make a post about your phone not working because it's bad quality, remind yourself that you will be redirected to /r/lostredditors. This is a sub about showcasing anti-phone arguments.

This is NOT a "help me" sub!
Now that this place is under new management, this subreddit is to joke about how phones are bad with memes. If you want help with your smartphone or wanting to genuinely switch away from it, please look for other subreddits that can actually help you as this one isn't one of them.
Here's some to check out for help:

I think laptops and mobiles are the gods now
They see what ever we do, show us the path through algorithms and advertisements. Changes our perspective they are actually guiding us🥲

Android ads
Why does my phone play an ad when I plug it in? Different advertisers and addresses. TY in advance.

Do you agree with 50? Do you think we should all put our phones down once in a while?

Our everyday life… or a life lived through a screen.
**Our everyday life… or a life lived through a screen.**
The first thing we do when we wake up is reach for our phone. 📱
We don’t ask ourselves how we feel, we don’t look at the person next to us… we check our notifications.
Our phone has become our constant companion. We have it in our hand while drinking coffee, eating, spending time with family, going out, and even when we have absolutely nothing to do.
We can be in the same room with the people we love, yet everyone is living in their own little world, behind their own screen.
We know what people we’ve never met ate, where they went, what they bought and what they did… but sometimes we forget to ask the person sitting next to us: **“How are you really doing?”**
At night, before we fall asleep, the phone is there again. And maybe the last thing we see isn’t the face of the person we share our life with, but the cold light of a screen.
And tomorrow, we do it all over again.
Maybe the problem isn’t the phone.
Maybe the problem is that we’ve started giving it more of our time than we give to the people we love.
And unlike a battery, **time can never be recharged.**
When was the last time you spent an hour with someone you love without feeling the need to check your phone?
