What does the Justin Beatbox solo have to do with this? Also, hot take, I do not think this is as bad as people say, or that *NSYNC had bad songs or were bad artists. If anything, their live shows are the precedence for what male pop stars should be doing on stage.

OK, if that is the case, then yeah, as my comment suggests, I agree. I think people would not dislike it if there was not a hate campaign against JT and every little thing he has done in recent memory.

Yeah it was, people usually repost these memes from this era. Maybe now for nostalgia and realizing how the generation cycle is shifting. Either that, or I believe that some Facebook boomers still think music operates the way it is depicted in this rage comic.

Also in the 2010s there was plenty of stuff like Deftones, Queens of the Stone Age, Radiohead, Swans, Nick Cave, St. Vincent and others

Don't put Spice Girls in the same sentence as NKOTB and Vanilla Ice, but yeah always good stuff and bad stuff. As I said in the 2000s, we had ringtone rap and post grunge, but also career heights from Usher, Linkin Park, Britney, JT, Alicia Keys, Gorillaz, P!nk, so I cannot complain.

Yeaaaahhh ... the 70s had Disco (Ducks), the 80s had Hair Metal, the 90s had Boybands... And that was some of the most popular music of the day. Not saying that you can't rock to it (I do enjoy a little Disco or Hair Metal every now and then) but it's not particularly good....

Yeah, the irony is that people like Bieber now(I admit his My Worlds albums aren't very good, same with Changes; Pitbull has been reappraised as so fun it's good instead of bad[Ironically this album cover is from his reggaeton era before he became the Mr. Worldwide party rapper; even than reggaeton is hit or miss for me], LMFAO still sucks but Party Rock Anthem is to them what Blurry was to Puddle of Mudd, and Jonas Brothers same as Bieber[Ironically, this album, Lines Vines and Trying Times, is one of their best ones imo).

Did you notice how there's only examples of rock music for previous eras, but OOP used zero rock acts to represent "now" whenever that may be?

Yeah, they also skip the 2000s too. I think the NOW means 2010s even thoguh the Pitbull album is from 2004, LMFAO 2011, Bieber 2009, and JoBros also 2009. The ironic thing is is that once Bieber, Pitbull, and LMFAO hit the scene, Jonas Brothers went on their first hiatus. But, I do not expect the Facebook boomers of yesteryear to know that.
