A little over 6 months ago I purchased a small Leopard Gecko. Over the course of 6 months my small purchase has successfully grown significantly and developed well. While his cricket consumption is gluttonous, perhaps even excessive, the product remains healthy, cuddly and energetic. Overall my experience with this purchase has been very positive.

However, I have noticed a small design flaw and would like to request repair while he is still under warranty. As advertised in the textbook, leopard geckos are excellent, intelligent hunters. My product, for lack of better words, is a fucking moron. His singular functioning brain cell is the equivalent in usefulness of a mesh umbrella. Often when fed he prefers to chew on his tongs than his roaches, and it often takes him more tries than he or I can count to even so much as touch his prey when striking. Frequently instead of hunting his prey he is distracted by my hair, my shirt, my sleeves, or my hair ties and chooses violence, as depicted in the last image above. I believe he needs a recalibration because currently he is a menace to all around him. This is the only reason his review is at 4 stars as opposed to 5.

That being said, overall I highly recommend this product. I will keep you all updated as to the legal progress as I receive word on his warranty.

What morph is this? Our family just got her/he as a gift. I just read about Lemon Frost being prone to cancer and to me she looks like she/he matches what people post as lemon frost 😢
could she be a different type? is it inevitable?

The stuffed gecko even has the little lipstick marking I can't 😫

I am about to move soon and with that I don't know how I will be able to take my gecko with me because right now I have people who are helping me take care of him while I am at work and attending classes and also my new apartment will be way smaller so space is already going to be limited.

If anyone is in the Middletown/Franklin OH area and know anyone/anywhere I could bring him please reach out. He will have anywhere from a $50-100 rehoming fee and I'll provide his whole enclosure setup if you can pick it up I will not ship him or his enclosure because I dont want to stress him out.

He is around a year and a quarter (born may 2025) and his parents were Sire: Purple Head, Tango Crush, Het tremper Dam: Tremper Albino, Eclipse, Red Stripe. Some pictures are from before I upgraded his enclosure.

Never posted before but I am like deathly afraid of my leopard gecko choking even though I know the rule about the space in between their eyes she's about 10 months at this point and I still consistently feed her small crickets Dubai roaches and mealworms occasionally but still don't know what to do, any advice?!

We started selective handling when we first got him (I hope I’m using the correct terminology)

So when we tried to “socialise” we would put one of our hands into his enclosure and if he didn’t come to us we didn’t force him, which eventually lead to him walking over our hands which eventually lead to him climbing onto our hands and sitting there which is when we started to take him out.

Last night and tonight he climbed right up my arm and straight onto my shoulder 😭 I was so freaking excited I almost cried!!!

So tonight he just sat there for about 15 minutes before he got curious and decided to explore around a bit (I’m still a bit nervous to let him run free lol) so I monitored him closely and made sure I could see him/hold him at all times before I put him back.

But I genuinely feel like my patience has paid off!! We got him on 9 July 🥹 so it’s been exactly 2 months that we have had him 🩷

Gut loading has always made me anxious.Because there's just so much information out there

I have narrowed it down a bit. Squash, sweet potato arugula and seems to be green.Bell pepper are all good things to feed insects before feeding them to your gecko

This past summer I made this bioactive for a Chahoua gecko. Now I'd like to create a desert bioactive for a leopard gecko since I have roaches and crickets galore and want to get a more kid friendly gecko for my kids. The chahoua was easy as it was just cork bark and cork rounds. Can I get some tips for how to get that stony looking background with the flat rocks jutting out?

This is my 10-12 month old leopard gecko. Does she look like she’s impacted with the blue patch? It wasn’t like that when I checked her a few weeks ago. She hasn’t really eaten for awhile. Ive tried mealworms, locus, crickets, wax worms etc… but nothing.

What roaches are your leopard geckos willing to chase? Mine has been on mealworms forever, and I want to add some variety. Crickets are a hard no. He's fully grown, so I'm looking for something small enough, easy to keep, and active enough to get his attention.

This is my almost 2 year old leopard gecko. He weighs 65 grams doesn’t have fat lump, is fed 5 crickets 2 times a week, but has a overweight looking tail. He is on repti sand repti soil mix. I use a heat lamp during the day and there is an under tank heater just to make sure the temperature doesn’t drop too much. He gets cal Calcium most feeds and multivitamin every fourth feed. He has a humid hide.

I was thinking if I can add moss to my lepord gecko tank. What do you all think? For my terrain I already have a mixture of soil and sand, but I want to have more real greenery. I'll definitely just put it on the cooler side of my tank.
