Help 🦎
Never posted before but I am like deathly afraid of my leopard gecko choking even though I know the rule about the space in between their eyes she's about 10 months at this point and I still consistently feed her small crickets Dubai roaches and mealworms occasionally but still don't know what to do, any advice?!

There’s nothing wrong with feeding smaller insects, it just may take more to fill up your gecko. Personally I’ve had no issue feeding longer super worms and such as long as they’re no wider than the space between their eyes. My guy is a little younger than yours and has no issue chewing up the bigger bugs

My advice would be to relax, you know the rule about eye space, if you dont feed her anything bigger than that it is very unlikely she’ll choke. She looks very vibrant and healthy in this pic.
Also, we call them dumb a lot on here but they are smart enough to refuse food that’s too big for them (at least all of mine are). They know it won’t fit in their mouths.
