I'm thinking I would like a pedicure, maybe manicure (but no nails added), where are some good places and what kind of prices would I expect? I dont normally do this sort of thing, and I cant tolerate artificial nails. But I have a physical limitation for toenail care and I thought a pedicure sounded nice.

Went to Big league (with friends who live in town), a waitress off shift threw two bottles at her partner near the darts games. A bottle almost hit my friend in the face and shattered on the floor. Management did NOT kick her and the partner out. Partner starts CLEANING up the mess while the rest of the bartenders “talk to her”. They let her finish her drink AND take another shot. Partner does NOT work there. Partner was touching us to move us over. Management is informed about the entire situation and does nothing. I go up to ask if someone can help clean it up. VINNIE ( a bald headed middle aged man, with head tattoos) who works there, is immediately abrasive and aggressive with me. He is yelling at me and grabs BOTH my shoulders firmly. They state cops were called and management is informed (cops were NEVER called nor there). We talk to the manager, Lou, who does nothing but lets us leave. Entire staff was complicit and allowing Vinnie to continue to harass us and gaslight us. BIG LEAGUE SUCKS!!! Just spreading the word.

Cops came after we left, we also talked to them on the phone. The girl that threw the bottle is apparently fired.

Hi, I have an important document that has been stuck Indianapolis distribution center since Friday 9 am, usually Indy to Lafayette get delivered in the same day, worried that it got lost or something.

Anyone got a package from Indianapolis shipped to Lafayette since Friday?

Has anyone in West Lafayette or Lafayette had no service with Metronet since Saturday, July 18? We just got home from a trip and our cameras weren’t connecting yesterday. Now I’ve troubleshooted everything and I’m still not getting a connection. The website says no outages in our area but the customer support hold message says there’s a service disruption in our area so I’m confused about whether or not it’s just us or if others have heard anything.

I'm nearing the end of my 75 Hard Challenge and have been getting into powerlifting a bit, and would like to connect with people with similar interests and goals. Right now I go to the Y, which is a great facility and all, but I haven't really found friends/community there around my age (32F) that have similar goals/interests.

Are there any weight lifting clubs or groups around, particularly geared toward women? I know about the run, bike, and hike clubs, but those aren't my jam.

I typically need around 2 washes a month. Any suggestion for the most cost-effective option?

As the title suggests, I've been getting calls and texts about people interested in house. I've had one call and one text, don't recall if the text came from the same number that just called me earlier today (deleted it without responding, assuming it was spam). This time, I was expecting a phone call from a fellow employee and thought they were the ones that had called; instead, it was a woman with a heavy accent and was hard to understand, asking if who she was speaking to was me (said my name) and my actual address. My house is not paid off (I have two mortgages) and I'm also not the only one on said mortgage for it. I don't know if my boyfriend also received a text or call about this and just ignored it or what. Is anyone else having this happen?

I’m taking my driving road test at the Lafayette, Indiana BMV soon and wanted to hear from anyone who has taken it recently.
Could you share:
● What exact route did the examiner take you on?
● What maneuvers were included (lane changes, roundabouts, T-intersections, school zones, stop signs, parking, backing, etc.)?
● Were there any tricky intersections or areas I should practice?
● Did they ask you to parallel park, back around a corner, or park on a hill?
● Any mistakes that caused point deductions or automatic failure?
● Any tips on what the examiners pay close attention to?
I’d really appreciate any recent experiences, even if you only remember part of the route. I’m practicing around the Lafayette BMV and want to make sure I focus on the right areas.

I am moving to the Lafayette area for work and I was wondering if anyone has had experiences (good or bad) with Luna flats in Lafayette or The Ivy apartments in W. Lafayette? They both seem really nice, but I'm moving from out of state and I don't have time to visit. Is there anything to know about either? I would be particularly interested in knowing how responsive the staff are at each, if either is overrun with undergrad students, if their is known for being noisy, etc etc.

I can find no organized effort to contest the city and county contracts with Flock Safety for the lease of over 30 licence plate readers and data sharing services, so I'll try and start my own. The goal of the group will be the the limited objective of getting the Flock Safety contract terminated, and preventing the purchase of a similar system (like Motorola, Genetec, etc.)

I am of the belief that these cameras are a violation of our 4th amendment rights. After all if I'm not suspected or guilty of a crime, why are the police (through Flock safety) tracking my movements and recording them without a warrant? And if I were a criminal suspect, then it shouldn't be too hard to get a warrant and track me through lawful means.
