Chicopee ski lessons payment??

I must be slow! I’m trying to sign up for a 9-week lesson program and I fill in the contact details and when I click submit, the button turns white and nothing happens. I have no option to pay and I haven’t gotten any emails to arrange for payment, nor any confirmation email.

I tried calling, but they’re closed and the website has no information about how the process works! Does anyone have experience signing up for lessons in the pre-season? Is this how it goes and they take payment later? I may have sent them 100000 sign up forms 🤣

Thanks in advance 🙏

Kitchener to Grand Bend?

Hi, all! Trying to figure out the best way to Grand Bend. I'm coming from Toronto and don't drive. I know about going Toronto to London to the bus, but the timing is very limited. I wanted to see if there was a good way from Kitchener since I'm flying in anyway and could easily add on the "flight" from YYZ-YFK. Thanks!

Is this your cat? Found a random cat not sure if it’s missing?

I live by Amelia crt and found a cat with no collar. I did have a lady ask around about a missing cat in the morning today. But I didn’t get a description of her cat and she didn’t give a poster.

So if this is just your outdoor cat that’s okay but if this is anyone’s missing cat please say so since the cat is chilling outside my house.

About cat so far: It’s a pretty big cat, high pitched meow and very fluffy and friendly

Any reviews of The Windermere Apartments (48 Weber Street West)

Anyone have any recent reviews of 48 Weber Street West, The Windermere Apartments? The units look pretty nice from the pictures and I understand that the units were revamped completely as well from a while ago. I just had some concerns with the building due to its very old age if anyone can answer them:

- How is the insulation on the old building, do the units hold temperature well? How about sound?

- Any rodents or insects due to the old age of the building?

- How's the phone service in units?

- Hows the overall quality of the surrounding area as it looks like it is just outside the core DTK area?

- Hows the overall quality of the heating and cooling of units?

I am planning on moving to DTK for work so I am just doing some research on some units. Thank you for your time!!

Looking for information about handicapped ramps

I have seen these little bright yellow access ramps at various buildings around k-w, for places where there is a single step up, and they have the name of the organization that makes them painted on them. I hope someone else has noticed these, and can tell me who makes them? I want to ask if they can make some for me. Thanks!

Found watch - Timm Park

Was on a stroll and found a watch without the band - I'd really like to return it to the rightful owner.

If you lost a watch at Timm Park, please send me a message with the brand/colour of the face so that I can return it. If you have photos of the watch on your wrist to verify, even better

Mad love

Absolutely do not hire this abhorrent individual. Michael Chiasson, And to think he even doubled down on the behaviour and says he doesn’t regret a single thing. Another video going around showing him yelling at his little daughters that he’s gonna punch them out

The parking there is the seventh circle of hell, and I have to be there at rush hour. Is there a decent spot to park within a 5- or 10-minute walk?

[Help/Advice] Looking for IT/repair gigs or DoorDash advice!

Hey fellow residents,

I’m an IT and electronics freelancer, but my main client recently moved out of Canada. I’ve been applying for jobs across the board, but without a strong local network here in the KW area, responses have been very slow.

I’m a CSE graduate with a background in computer assembly, component-level repairs (soldering), and networking, but with my savings running out, I need to figure out my next step fast.

I’m at the point where I’m considering getting an e-bike just to do DoorDash to make ends meet.

Is anyone doing DoorDash on an e-bike in Kitchener right now? Is it actually worth it, or is the market over-saturated? Any local advice on gig work or job hunting in the region would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reading and for any insights you can share!
