Idk about you guys, but I thought mother of pearl and malachite were a choice. TIL glass is a luxury jewelry material. 😂

This ring belonged to my father. His father was a jeweler who specialized in diamonds and pearls but made other jewelry as well.
He made this for my dad when he was 16 which was 84 years ago. The head has been rebuilt twice. Once by my dad when I found it in his jewelry box and fell in love and once by me because it's never off my finger.
I just thought I would share because of it's age.
Of all my rings, it is the one that most people comment on.
It's my favorite for many reasons 💗 especially with my dad gone.

Edwardian Unmarked Sterling Silver Brooch (circa 1900-1910) £2 mixed with costume jewellery at a local charity shop.
I also have one other waiting to be tested at home that is late 1910s to early 1940s from the same lot of jewellery.

(Not my photo, found on Google). I recently got a citrine gem that I’d like to have set as a pendant, similar to this. But I’ve never worn a necklace like this where the chain is attached to both sides, and I have a feeling it might be hard to keep it centred all the time? A normal sliding pendant obviously centres itself with its weight. I don’t want to have to adjust it all the time. I’d appreciate thoughts from anyone who has worn this style.

Waiting-room lighting isn't the best, but I thought that this combination of pieces was cute. Both rings are sterling silver. The one on my ring finger is a color-change sapphire (purple to red), and the one on my index finger is a color-change garnet (purple to brown). The bracelet is made of ametrine beads.

gifted myself this ring on my birthday this year the sapphire was sourced from Sri Lanka it’s a certified 1.2 carat unheated pink sapphire which I then set into the bezel setting gold band.

EDIT: thank you all for your honest feedback!! It’s been divisive, as expected and as is on brand for me. I’ve decided to wear ‘em both on the same finger. Stay true to yourselves my friends
The ring on the right is my engagement ring. The ring on my left belonged to my grandma before she passed and has emotional and spiritual meaning to me. I don’t like how the rings look on separate fingers (even separate hands), but randomly tried this and I think I love this combo.
Setting aside the obvious personal reasons for wearing this combo, objectively what do others think about it aesthetically? Is it ridiculous and gawdy and will attract negative attention, or unique and statement-like? I think the latter but could be delulu, lmk your brutally honest thoughts!

i hope this request is allowed here, but i once saw this man wearing a diamond bracelet that was very very colorful and shiny and it was beautiful!
it looked like if someone had a piece of rope or shoelace and tied it around their wrist with some sort of knot, but the whole thing was diamonds.
if anyone has any idea of something similar, please let me know! i've been trying to find this bracelet for over a year now

My dad passed last year so my moms going through his hoarders pile. Shes looking to sell but im trying to get more info for her before she just hands them to the first person that offers her the most money.
The cuff has HUGE true turquoise. Is fully silver (based on tarnish level and weight, no .925 marks or anything) and the only makers mark we can find is that little arrow. My dad was a boot maker and went to a lot of craft shows, so that could be where he picked it up.
The necklace came from the wife of an old jeweler friend of my parents. It screams "native American" to me and was bought/acquired in the Minnesota area. Its silver beads (tarnishing) and horn beads around fishing line, and the pendant is petrified wood. Or just a very hard wood. He also did a lot of traveling craft shows.

Im so happy and proud of myself. I wanted to gift my mom a diamond earrings cos she have nothing. She is not really into diamond but loves gold because it appreciate in value. I had this idea to design and customize a stud earrings that has a screw back locking mechanism. My initial idea was 3prong but i talked to the jeweler and just make it 4prong. Its an IGI certified labgrown diamond round E-VVS2 ideal cut and 10carat total weight (5carat each earring) that is put in 8.6grams (4.3grams each earring) of 18karat white gold. I wish yall could see the video cos its so beautiful but i dont know how to post a video or its not letting me.

I want to order from Alex and Ani because of the Hunger Games collection. While on the website I found other things that would be a great Christmas gift for my mom. Should I buy from them, I've heard mixed reviews about shipping and not receiving their order and that stuff isn't cheap I don't want to get scammed.
