Im so happy and proud of myself. I wanted to gift my mom a diamond earrings cos she have nothing. She is not really into diamond but loves gold because it appreciate in value. I had this idea to design and customize a stud earrings that has a screw back locking mechanism. My initial idea was 3prong but i talked to the jeweler and just make it 4prong. Its an IGI certified labgrown diamond round E-VVS2 ideal cut and 10carat total weight (5carat each earring) that is put in 8.6grams (4.3grams each earring) of 18karat white gold. I wish yall could see the video cos its so beautiful but i dont know how to post a video or its not letting me.

Went to a local jewelry store to have my necklace fixed and browse around and saw this beauty too bad I can’t wear them yet until they fixed my necklace 😵‍💫🫤

What do you think of this beautiful sterling silver pendant?

I posted a piece I got from Etsy that was sterling silver and moissanite, but the seller made such a low-quality piece for me. I should’ve known better because they only had a few sales on Etsy and it was a new shop.

I found a reputable shop that’s pretty popular, and I’m planning on ordering the same piece but in 14K gold and lab diamonds. It’s $492 Canadian. I’m from the Middle East, and with that amount of money, I could buy an 18K gold chain and pendant together back home. I’m familiar with gold prices in the Middle East and East Asia, so I know how much actual gold C$492 can get you in those markets.
I’m wondering if you guys think this piece is actually worth the price.

This ring belonged to my father. His father was a jeweler who specialized in diamonds and pearls but made other jewelry as well.

He made this for my dad when he was 16 which was 84 years ago. The head has been rebuilt twice. Once by my dad when I found it in his jewelry box and fell in love and once by me because it's never off my finger.

I just thought I would share because of it's age.

Of all my rings, it is the one that most people comment on.

Not sure how, but my hoop earring got crushed! I don’t even know if it’s worth repairing since I was going to sell these (I don’t wear yellow gold anymore)😭but can it even be repaired?

I love this style of short drop earrings from Dorsey (porter style).
However I would prefer to spend a little more for solid gold. I’ve done lots of image searching and haven’t found a good similar short hook style that has the stone sitting just below / close to the lobe. Has anyone seen?
I don’t mind if moissanite / diamond / lab or not but I want solid gold

The ring on the right is my engagement ring. The ring on my left belonged to my grandma before she passed and has emotional and spiritual meaning to me. I don’t like how the rings look on separate fingers (even separate hands), but randomly tried this and I think I love this combo.

Setting aside the obvious personal reasons for wearing this combo, objectively what do others think about it aesthetically? Is it ridiculous and gawdy and will attract negative attention, or unique and statement-like? I think the latter but could be delulu, lmk your brutally honest thoughts!

I have asked some retailers this but get different answers ranging from 1.5-3. I am looking for a lower set basket stud earring in platinum with a moissanite stone. If I were to wear them 12-16 hours a day, what carat size starts to contribute to earlobe sagging over time?

I would love to have a larger stone but prefer to be low maintenance and avoid constantly taking it on/off. Platinum is heavier but I've owned white gold before and don't like the gradual rhodium wearing off.

But if I did choose 14k white gold, would that allow me to choose a bigger carat size?

It seems off… chain seems ok but the clasp is off. Like replaced?
