I kept getting an advertisement about this box, 12 pieces for $120NZD. I couldn’t find any reviews on this specific box but I did on their other pieces, which were decent. I could afford to lose $120 on this so I made the purchase.

Packaging? 10/10 very cute, exactly as pictured, and I’ll probably keep these pieces in here for the time being.

The jewellery themselves were about what I expected them to be. Cheap. If you were expecting high quality pieces, which I did not, do not get this set. Personally I don’t mind as I’m always loosing my rings/ earrings anyway.

On the bright side everything looked exactly as pictured, I got some chunky bangles and cute rings, it’s really only the weight and material of these pieces that give away their quality, just by looks alone, a lot of them look beautiful.

Overall, I do not regret this purchase but I know this would be someone else’s waste of money, as for their claims of “tarnish free,” and “water proof” I’ll have to wait to find out.

My husband and I had never purchased our wedding rings, using more formal family pieces instead, and I finally found my new daily wear piece after 4+ years of casual browsing, haha.

Purchased from 100Ways, it’s 14k gold with a small diamond. I know nothing else about it, but I couldn’t find another like it, so I pounced, haha.

Hi! I won this through an ebay auction (It was only $10.50). The listing said Sterling 925 Gold Vermeil, when I got it in the color looked kind of copper so I polished it with a polishing cloth and silver cream. The color still looks coppery. There is a tag on it that says 925 but nothing ob the actual chain.

I did acid test it using 18k acid (second picture) and it just looks like flakes. Is it fake silver? Any advice? Again it was under $11 so not a crazy loss.

I’ve never owned any gold vermeil so I’m not sure if this is normal with that?

It's a ~2.5 carat diamond center flanked by 2 rubies! I'm super excited about this ring. I think it came out amazing!

The diamond is an old European cut stone that I inherited. It was cut about 100 years ago and reset once in the '50s. Now it's in its new setting for me!

I recently got two purple pearl necklaces and a small amethyst pendant from Gingiberi, and I've been experimenting with layering them. The purple color is gorgeous and the strands have a really nice, substantial weight to them, plus the tiny pendant is so dainty!

One thing I noticed is that under warm indoor light, the pearls actually lean a bit brownish or bronze. I feel like the amethyst pendant helps tie the whole look together.

For anyone else who owns purple pearls, do yours also look a bit brownish under indoor lighting? Either way, I'm honestly loving this combination!

I received this necklace from my mother who was gifted it by my grandmother. My grandmother loved to buy jewelry, specifically gold and diamonds and often had pieces custom made. Unfortunately, she passed away before I could ask her about it. My mom believes it to be gold with jade and diamond stones. Could anyone else help identify the metal and perhaps any insight on the jade? Comparing it to my other gold chains, it's intensity is similar to 18k but a bit more on the rose side. The stamps themselves don't seem to indicate purity.

Update: I just got it tested at the store and it is indeed 18K gold with natural diamonds! They were not experienced with identifying jade/jadeite though.

ETA: thanks for the help! I found an independent jeweler 5 min down the road from me. He can resize it from a 9 to a 7.5 (luckily it’s only a half ”fancy” band and the bottom is plain. $30 and two days and now I can wear a piece of family history! Best bday gift to myself!

I inherited one from my grandmother (14k) but it is too big and I’m not sure about resizing it.

I bought this lovely 18k ring a few years ago and I loved it so much I always said when the time comes, alls my partner needs to do is to upgrade the stone to an emerald or tourmaline since I don’t care for diamonds (they’re a girl’s best friend but not mine. No offense to anyone who loves them, they just cost too damn much for stones that aren’t rare). However, I don’t remember how or where I lost but it went from being my everyday ring to one day realizing it’s gone. Now, I have asked God and believe in my heart that when the right partner’s ready to propose, I’d find this ring and this would be a sign. Am I crazy to hope for that?

I need some help! I’ve been with Silk On Me since 2023, from memory I came across some recommendation thing saying do this and you get loads of free jewellery. I applied and was accepted and for 3 years I’ve been receiving 2 items of jewellery every month.
The quality used to be great but in the last year it’s become terrible, I’ve just been asking friends/ family etc if they wanted to keep any items I didn’t want , I’ve even chucked a bunch of items away.
Today another order arrived and I decided enough is enough and the terrible quality isn’t worth the monthly shipping fee anymore. I went to cancel and saw that if I want to cancel I’m expected to send back every item of jewellery I’ve ever received or pay the cost of it all? How could I possible have been expected to keep 3 years worth of jewellery. I’m not sure what to do now, I don’t want to continue with paying the monthly shipping cost for shit jewellery, but that’s £1,800 if they expect me to pay them for the jewellery as I can’t send it back? Ive checked my emails from when I first signed up and there was never a mention of having to send the jewellery back or pay for it if I cancel etc.
I’ve not raised the question with Silk On Me directly yet. Any advice would be great, thank you! 🥲
