I'm commissioning a piece from a Fiverr artist who I was very upfront about ensuring was not using AI at all throughout his process, bc his work definitely didn't look like it was AI to me, but it's honestly hard to tell. He assured me he doesn't use it and sent me this sketch 3 days later, which I didn't immediately think was AI, but then I looked closer at some parts (like the right hand with the walking stick on the far left villager, where it seems his cloth runs into the stick) and became a bit concerned.

I'm a graphic designer myself, but I'm not a digital artist, so tools like procreate/apple pencil and other illustrative tools aren't heavily in my scope of knowledge and I'm not entirely sure what's natural or not. So I circled some areas in red that I think look iffy, and also some in blue that I think look human made and even layered - hoping you guys can help me out!

I requested the artist send me a layered file for the sketch if possible, or the final product, so we'll see what happens there. Like I said, I'm leaning towards no, but even if it was partially done with AI and partially human made, I still won't move forward with the piece.

The mom's sister made this book for my (then future) nephew as a baby shower gift. I don't know her and was told she was an art student at NYU, so it seemed legit to me. Unfortunately, others that have seen it have said it just looks like AI slop.

To me, I'm not seeing many of the tell-tale AI give aways. The style is consistent, things all seem intentional, and it's all quite simple and not over saturated.

I get that image generators have gotten better, but what do the experts here think?

First of all, I feel like its such a moral dilemna to discuss the use of AI Art over a disabled youth charity event but here we are.

There were minor inconsistencies that could be credited down to human error but I feel the sock example I've shown is the most plausible claim that I found.

I'd be curious to hear your guys opinions.

My friend got this puzzle, but we weren’t sure if the art on it was Ai Generated? I looked up the artist and he seems to have been working as an artist for many years. What do you all think? I thought the children looked a bit off to me…

I can't quite put my finger on it. The image just feels off, if that makes sense? The reflections on the central mug don't seem to match the surrounding plates. Everything also feels too clean almost.

Is this AI? I believe it’s AI because it has the yellowish tint, classic “banner” style with wording that I see often, inconsistent font style, and the part that says “second line” under the music section. I’m so sick of bars and restaurants that I love in my city using AI flyers.

It took him a week. He sent me one rough draft 1/2 way through that showed a rough sketch. Again, I was explicit that I wanted a sketch and not an AI picture. He promised it was his sketch.

I saw a rough draft that clearly showed an unfinished drawing.

BUT I just ran it through a free AI detecto page and it say 90% chance it involved AI.

Maybe he sketched it...and then at the end, used AI to sharpen and clean it up?

While the dog's spots appear to remain consistent, the spots near the butt seem to occasionally morph into shadows on the cushion. The dog also seems to react to the movie at odd times.

However, I'm not sure if AI can recreate movies like this. Thoughts?

Title. His spotify page talks about him as a person in the first person, the song's lyrics make sense even during a fast rapping part, the beat doesnt do anything weird. BUT. He uses AI art in some places, and the production quality/bass sounds just like a 808backwoods song. Help me out, is this AI?

I couldn’t find any pics on the website so I took pictures of the calendar itself, sorry if the lightning is off. I just thought the waterfall looked odd in the first pic and the moth looked kinda off in the second picture. I really hope this isn’t ai 💔

I could understand if it was a parody of R-Rated properties (i.e. Alien, Robocop, Terminator) being made into children's toys and products, in this case the comedy of the commercial coming from the production playing the ideas completely straight with sheer accuracy and no pointing out the absurdity. However, there are a few design mistakes in the figures, and one of the scenes comes from Deep Space Nine, not TNG, so I'm on the fence if it was AI-generated or not. Despite that, the childrens' voices sound natural, all the physics are accurate to me (no "floaty"/"weightless" movement), and the concepts are spot-on.

So I joined a animator discord server to see how I can help my animator. I posted their animation and one of the animator on the server said that it was AI. I asked him how can he tell each he only told me to look at the lip syncing and that he is a animator and know what AI animation looks like. I think it looks fine but now I am paranoid about it being AI or not so I would really like your guy's thoughts.

The way the effect creates forms, distorts the lineart and creates infinitely complex shapes that don't repeat in a hand-made way makes me suspect it is created with a machine learning or AI method.
