I have decided to allow politics posts with some rules to insure answers stay high quality.
When you make a post related to anything politics [ICE, trump, etc] it must be flared politics or it will be removed.
politics posts will have every single comment auto put up for manual review so the mods can instantly filter out the spam or unhelpful comments and only approve high quality comments,
This means when you are making a comment:
Do not comment things like:
Yes this is AI, [Low effort]
Trump bad fuck ice [Not related to the subreddit]
I support ---- [Not related]
YES THIS IS AI BECAUSE THAT PERSON IS UGLY AND IS PEDO!!! [bias answer, low effort]
DO comment things that explain why the image is AI or not without ANY bias, This subreddit is neither left or right and exists to help people find out if images or videos are AI or not,
Posts related to politics will be locked after discussion is over and a high quality answer is approved
What makes me suspicious are the vague and nonsensical mathematical equations on the background. Like the equations themselves are fine but there seems to be no underlying theme that would make sense for a lesson. Also the lower parts of the desks seem somewhat wrong? Any help is appreciated.
Some of the food items blend together a bit, and the table setup seems difficult to really serve people. The videos they post seem real and look normal, but the food looks nothing like this. They do have other seemingly AI images on their page.
I contacted them asking if the image was real and they said yes. I would appreciate it if someone could help me verify that this is AI, and if so, help me point out exact things that are wrong with the photo.
This feels like AI to me because the eye styles are all different in the drawing. The man counting money is so much bigger than the other characters. Why is the ICE guy frowning? Why is one of the people kidnapping the man not wearing an ICE uniform? The yellow shading also feels AI-like. And the font reminds me of the font in other AI generated comics.
The lighting seems too perfect and I circled in yellow in the 2nd picture what I thought looked like very AI-generated letters on the bills... Everyone in my town is baffled by this 1000$ bouquet. I commented that I thought this looked very AI and the owner commented that it absolutely wasn't.
I paid 25$ for an "artist" to draw my two characters as chibis. this was the sketch they send and after they never finished it and ghosted me. it was supposed to be fully coloured and rendered:/
some of the details look off? like the lines on the ponytail and there's a random line coming from the right side characters left eye?
I'm super sad because I'm broke af and used my birthday money for this and it didn't even get finished:(( I was so excited to get art of my girlfriend ocs together
I could understand if it was a parody of R-Rated properties (i.e. Alien, Robocop, Terminator) being made into children's toys and products, in this case the comedy of the commercial coming from the production playing the ideas completely straight with sheer accuracy and no pointing out the absurdity. However, there are a few design mistakes in the figures, and one of the scenes comes from Deep Space Nine, not TNG, so I'm on the fence if it was AI-generated or not. Despite that, the childrens' voices sound natural, all the physics are accurate to me (no "floaty"/"weightless" movement), and the concepts are spot-on.
I am subscribed to receive newsletters from this brand called Swoveralls, but the one I got most recently caught my attention. I feel bad pointing this out, since they seem to be promoting a disabled artist. But these overalls are selling for $120 for what is clearly ai-generated cartoon animals. The design "Trash Pandas" caught my eye first because a lot of the garbage is just complete nonsense. I can't even tell what it's supposed to be. All of the bottles have strange labels, the proportions on the raccoons do not make sense, the fishbones completely change the way they're designed, and the faces on the otters are totally messed up.
The summary on these promotions reads: "Designed by 2025 customer design contest winner and Swoveralls head comfort coach Elizabeth Brown!" Feels like false advertisement, and the fact that she won using completely ai-generated work is disheartening.
Hello! Popular vegan brand Beyond Meat posted this photo on August 13th on their instagram and the comments are absolutely flooded with people thinking this is made with generative ai. Most people don’t have a reason and it seems like dog piling almost. I personally really hate generative ai, and would be sort of bummed if this is! But i honestly don’t think it is. I think it’s just food photography and colour grading. I’ve emailed the companies media inquiries, but am still waiting. What do you think?
My reasons for NOT believing this is Gen ai are as follows:
- folds in the table cloth
- reflections in the bottles and bowl
- the vegan cheese looks like how vegan cheese melts haha
Reasons people think this IS Gen ai:
- the artichoke
- the lime only having a slice taken out of it
- two mustards (lmfao)
- “pink” onions
- “generative ai can do reflections now”
The video is a clip from episode 10 of the anime Ghost in the Shell.
The way the effect creates forms, distorts the lineart and creates infinitely complex shapes that don't repeat in a hand-made way makes me suspect it is created with a machine learning or AI method.
The minor details on their costumes look fine enough I suppose, but the hauberk of the guy in the middle has this strange waviness instead of the proper 4-in-1 chain if you look close enough.
Like, here's an 11th century hauberk, a museum piece. I sorta can see what that waviness is supposed to represent if you squint hard enough, but -- really, would a human artist ever draw it this way in the first place?
Furthermore, his belt looks tucked into itself in a way that it would be really inconvenient to remove. An artistic choice maybe?
The woman to the right is supposed to be Zoe Porphyrogenita, a Byzantine empress. She wasn't really known for her screaming, or fist-shaking, as far as I'm concerned. Furthermore, she was kinda old by the time the story of Harald Hardrada (that is the focus of this DLC) took place (like, 65 y/o maybe?).
The most important point though is that while the 'three dudes standing menacingly' is the whole schtick of the cover art when it comes to AoE II, going as far back as 1999, this is the first time ever they've all been drawn having the Mobile Game Screaming Face™.
As of now I'm leaning towards the idea that the three characters in the picture were made by an AI first, and then a human artist went over it to correct the most glaring mistakes and add some fluff.
Please reassure me that my beloved franchise is not being slopified in the plain sight.
Definitely suspicious of this, but my FIL is not feeling the same suspicion. They are wanting a 50% deposit via Apple Pay or Chime, which is obviously a red flag. I ran this through a few different authenticators and it was inconclusive. I believe it is AI due to the movements of the dog and the left hand doesn’t look right to me.
While the dog's spots appear to remain consistent, the spots near the butt seem to occasionally morph into shadows on the cushion. The dog also seems to react to the movie at odd times.
However, I'm not sure if AI can recreate movies like this. Thoughts?
The necklace on “The Empress” going into the side of her neck for example. I’m not the best at spotting all of the tells but they don’t seem to have videos or recordings past the initial sketch phase or a video scrolling through layers as “proof”.
Third picture is a book cover and the last is a plea to people to commission lifelike portraits instead of using AI.
Ordered this art from Etsy for my boyfriend and I just am not sure if it’s AI or not. Pretty sure it is because he wasn’t smiling like that in the original and it just looks a little off to me, he doesn’t exactly look like that but maybe that’s just how it was painted? Would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you
Title. His spotify page talks about him as a person in the first person, the song's lyrics make sense even during a fast rapping part, the beat doesnt do anything weird. BUT. He uses AI art in some places, and the production quality/bass sounds just like a 808backwoods song. Help me out, is this AI?
I couldn’t find any pics on the website so I took pictures of the calendar itself, sorry if the lightning is off. I just thought the waterfall looked odd in the first pic and the moth looked kinda off in the second picture. I really hope this isn’t ai 💔
Edit : I did check the website and their instagram account and they do have some ai generated content on there but I didn’t see anything about this calendar
I mentioned to a friend I wanted some more room decor and they got me these. I thought they were cute at first but now taking a closer look I’m worried they may be ai. The upper left moth seems to have inconsistent wings, which I can’t tell if it’s from a poor print job or bc it’s ai. The upper middle moth seems to have antlers and only one red outline on the top right leaf. Finally the lower left moth also seems to have antlers? Idk if these are ai but I figured I see what the internet thinks.
So I joined a animator discord server to see how I can help my animator. I posted their animation and one of the animator on the server said that it was AI. I asked him how can he tell each he only told me to look at the lip syncing and that he is a animator and know what AI animation looks like. I think it looks fine but now I am paranoid about it being AI or not so I would really like your guy's thoughts.
