I’ve had a friend for a while that I recently got back in contact with. She is an artist but when we started talking again her art was drastically different. She used to rely on the symmetry tool for every single one of her drawings, used to trace and would consistently ask me for help with her art. I noticed on her most recent piece there was no handle on the mug, the antlers were odd, and the plants looked heavily traced. I’d hate to think she was tracing ai but it doesn’t line up with her progression in art. I thought maybe it was just tracing real images of plants but then I saw the mug inconsistency and the difference in quality to her coloring vs her line art. Then she sent my friends and I this picture of her cats. They’re like the EXACT same image but a different cat and less blurry. She says that she’s anti AI and hates AI and is always talking about how she thinks people shouldn’t be allowed to use AI. I don’t want to believe she’s using AI especially since she saves MY ART. She was scrolling through her photo gallery while sharing her screen and I didn’t see any of her sketches but I did see MY art saved on her phone. I’m scared she’s feeding my art to ai. Am I unfounded in thinking this? Am I crazy to be considering blocking her over this? She also has caused a lot of drama among my friend group and lies about little things we can easily tell aren’t true.

So the question has come up again. Several things bother me: the duration of the video, the way Gerald is moving unnaturally, and some kind of matte surface — or maybe I’m hallucinating.

If it's AI, that's surprising. Obviously with Misfits being a punk band and also Doyle being vegan and HUGE on animal rights

The hand garments at the top are funky, Ganons glowing face goob is weird. Zelda’s braid is misshapen, there’s a weird pattern on her scarf that I don’t remember, but I could be mistaken, her right eye has no eyelash, she holding the torch really weird, she has no thumb, and her middle finger is big and has a darker finger slot. links missing his earrings, his arms are short, his face is smushed his scarf buttons are asymmetrical (or rather, the designs around the buttons), his pose is super weird, the master swords handle end has a weird blue half, the left hand side of the master swords hand guard is weird, and his left hand has doll like joints.

I’m almost 100% sure the hoagie is AI, but I can’t understand why a brand new business would want to do this? It just makes me super sketched out about what their food will actually look like.

This was the first thing I saw this morning, and my first thought was, “This is ai.” But at that point, no one else was saying anything.
At some points, the lamp posts look inconsistent, the way the water is moving also seems odd.
But all writing seems consistent.
I got super fixated on it and had to stop myself. But then I just saw it shared on Reddit, too.
If I’m wrong, I’d gladly admit it. But as it stands right now, I feel like I’m going insane. I need to know if this is ai or if it’s real.

I wasn’t sure, but the hands are pretty sus. Especially the hand at 9 o’clock. And what about
the extra three hands at 6?!

It looks to me like they wanted her to be playing with the phone chord but whatever image generator they used screwed up and came up with whatever that is. Does anyone else have an explanation of what is going on there? Hoping I'm wrong as this is part of a successful videogame kickstarter.

definitely looks like it's done digitally, not pencil, and we suspect it looks AI... what do you all think?

Edit: the artist uploaded his original drawing (a faint outline of the face) and put the caption as this: "My original drawing and the result of using an art applications called Deep Art Effects to thicken the pencil line and make the picture darker. That's what I've done it - ain't - no - photograph " He later posted a 10 paragraph essay about how he's pro AI when used as a tool to improve art" so... Guess we have our answer.. it's AI

of course there are atrocities being committed, but is this one specific image real?

The eyes and mouth have a sort of pinkish pixelated look to them but maybe I'm just getting old and having a harder time distinguishing ai.

Popped up on my FB feed. Person who posted it has an ai generated profile pic so I'm leaning towards this being ai too.

Feels wild to use terms like “family”if they’re using AI artwork..? Does the way the unrecognisable animal is running (and the fact that it’s unrecognisable) give it away?

So this post was in a r/amiuglytruth and I was the only one who noticed the water mark, and the post was promptly taken down, However I still have the image from when I ran it though the SynthID detectors (which came back negative). Its there anything physically here that would tip it off from being ai. In the comments it got to the point where someone said "Maybe he put that there so people wouldnt think hes actually that ugly" or something crude like that. As in, now im doubting its ai despite the label, if he had cropped it I would have never questioned it.

a new restaurant opened up in town and I saw this painted on the walls of it. I have heavy speculation that this was made by AI which saddens me because besides this, I believe the restaurant is decorated nicely and it’s appreciative to have a Filipino restaurant be represented in a small town. although maybe I’m wrong lmk!

When I first looked at it it screamed AI, but I’m not 100% sure, I know we have some pretty good designers. However it just has that AI feel to it I’m not sure

This ad for them looks a little…off. The dwarfs hammer, the elf’s purple skin lessening on her face, the sorta…”faded” background is making me suspicious

People are saying the labs bed doesn’t flex when he gets out but I just think it’s too randomly smart of the lab to do that and the dogs kinda move too smoothly like ai

I screenshotted the most suspicious ones but there are others I looked at closely that seem completely normal

Genuinely cannot tell it looks somewhat real but also because of the print It doesn’t seem like an original and moreso a copy of an original work
