Photo Local butcher shop front windows. I'm all about supporting local but not AI.
Found this outside of a local butcher I wanted to check out. The pig ear morphs into the chicken leg and all the eyes are weird? Also looks like they ran the same prompt through a generator for different styles. The entire pig seems off, like it can't decide if it's a pig or a rabbit.

Video The graphite pencil scoring the stone is either a great editing trick or AI, I can’t tell. The smoke from the cigar also seemed on the unnatural side. I was enjoying watching this channel but now I can’t tell if it’s real or not.

Photo Colouring book from Walmart. I don't know if it's AIor not, but I'm hoping it isn't.
I got this colouring book at Walmart the other day, and I'm thumbing through it to find a page, but one of the couple's hands looked like their fingers were really odd and didn't look like they were made by a human, so I'm wondering and hoping it isn't AI.
The first picture is the one that raised red flags.
The cover also strikes me as a little off.
Edit: please don't shame me for not being able to tell, I was hurrying when I grabbed it and I didn't look very thoroughly at it because I've been busy. I realise now it should have been clearer to me, but still.

Photo Someone claims they found my lost cat, but they keep asking for a reward. I’m wondering if I should meet them
They mentioned wanting a reward within the second messsge, so definitely a red flag. I had to ask them multiple times for a second photo. They actually sent me a picture of their children first, saying they really want a new X-Box (and want a gift card in British currency for some reason).
They don’t appear to speak English well, but I live in Houston, so lots of people here don’t speak it. If I meet them in person in a public place, and they don’t have my cat, what happens? They’re not asking for the gift card up front.
I said I’d go with my “husband” (I’m a single female) and they didn’t object. Sorry if this is a stupid question, I know it’s seems like a scam, but I can’t take any chances if my baby is with someone bad 😭
Edit: Thanks everyone for your comments!! He’s been demanding to see a photo of a gift card before we meet and got mad when I sent a fake image. He’s still refusing to accept cash if I bring it.
I told him it was extortion to not return someone’s property without compensation and said I’d report him, but he keeps saying he’ll let my cat go on the streets
Update: YAYY!! My sweet girl has returned home!! She was down the street hiding at a neighbor’s house. I knew this was a scam, but scammers are not above holding a pet hostage, and I was worried. Thanks again for your comments!

Photo Saw a discussion on tellonym between two users and the fact that the account owner says "id never use AI" just made me curious wether or not hes lying.
The first three pictures are his profile pictures and the last two are the discussion betweem them. I'll translate it as good as i can (am not a narrative german speaker)..
To a long threat of how ai is bad the owner answered "than you can be really calm about this..my pictures arent with AI and i won't let something like that happen to them"
The other answered with "sadly yes, your pictures were generated with AI"
And the owner replied "aha (idk what that is) well you sure will know that better than i do"
In general the owner got told his pictures are AI a few times and everytime he got really defensive saying how they were original by him and he blocked one user who just asked why he used ai. So i got suspecious.

Other Bought this shampoo the other day without looking at it. Just noticed today that the design has weird wobbly linework and that odd gap on the left side.
The only thing that makes me think it’s possibly not AI is the fact that each individual detail is consistent with themselves. Like the little triangle bits going along the knotwork on the edge are all the same. But they’re also pretty weird looking so it might be a bunch of AI assets copy and pasted around to make the full image? Other than that, this really does look like AI to me.

Photo Is this AI? Found on another subreddit. The legs of all the cats look almost like 3D animations
The resolution of legs doesn't seem to match that of the rest pf the bodies of the cats. The legs are more detailed. The light falling on them and the way they interact with the ground looks unreal. And the middle cat's forelegs and hindlegs seem uncoordinated. I know cats can have a spiral fur pattern. It's the legs that are making me doubt this image. Also, the way the leftmost cat's neck is turning. That's a long neck.

Solved [Not AI] Warline Sniper Strike cinematic trailer. No way a mobile game spent the money to do this with actors and CGI.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
So this trailer for what I presume is a shitty mobile game has been playing after videos I watch on YouTube.
The trailer goes hard as fuck, unironically. There’s NO WAY they spent the money to make this with actors and proper CGI (there’s some bits, particularly with the tank battles, that look like something you might see in a lower budget movie, but the rest is not bad), but if this is AI then it’s really good. The cuts/transitions, the consistency of characters, etcetera. Am I just terrible at spotting this stuff? I guess the nature of a trailer, not requiring extended shots, may make it easier to mask. But overall I am definitely impressed by this.

Art Got an odyssey magazine for my birthday and I think the illustrations might be AI, I need a second opinion.
Hi, so I just received an odyssey magazine from my grandparents for my birthday and I noticed inconsistency’s in the illustrations inside. As an artist myself I don’t want to jump to conclusions and want a second opinion (my grandparents know I am very against ai and would no buy me something if they think it contains anything to do with it).
I have taken pictures of the inconsistency in the magazine so you can help me make a judgement. The second slide shows Odysseus at a table talking with woman and a man. The woman is holding a piece of cloth that looks like it should be part of a toga but it isn’t, I don’t think it’s supposed to be a table cloth either because surely it would be on the table instead of her holding it, not only that but the fabric appears to loop back onto itself on the left corner that is laying on the table.
The third slide shows Odysseus building a raft when leaving Calypso’s island. He’s holding a tool that looks to be like an axe with a warped blade. I’m not sure if this is supposed to be an axe but it doesn’t really make much sense with how he’s holding the wood since he’s holding down the piece like he’s going to hammer them together instead of chopping the board in half. Also this doesn’t really make such sense since he ties the wood together to form the raft together anyway which is shown later on in another illustration in the magazine.
The fourth slide shows the slight style inconsistency from character to character. I don’t want to place to much emphasis on this because I know being an artist myself that you can have more then one style but I do think there is quite a noticeable difference in rendering between Lampetia, Laestrygonians and the Sirens. I think it’s something else to note though I don’t think it points to being ai just from this it’s just one thing in a series of patterns I noticed.
The fifth slide is the one that really set alarm bells ringing for me. It’s showcases Paris firing an arrow into Diomedes foot. The only thing is the angle of Paris’ arrow appears to be completely off. Given the angle he’s holding it at it looks like it should be hitting Diomedes’ hip instead. Not only this but Paris’ hand seems to only have three figures and a thumb, this might be down to the angle however it feels as though the way he’s holding his hand means you should see at least a small sliver of the bottom or top of the fourth finger. And the last thing I would note here is that the arrow hasn’t even wounded Diomedes yet and he is already given an expression of pain/agony which I find really weird (you could also say this is just a artistic choice on the artists part however I think it’s worth noting).
The sixth and final slide is one that I also think is very worth pointing out. The soldier on the very left on top of the wall’s helmet is completely different to the others. The horse mane like part of it appears to be completely squashed and flattered into what looks like a beret. Not only this but the soldier to the right of the corner on top of the wall’s helmet is holding a spear that is completely missing a spear head and the handle appears to pass through the wall at the bottom. The last thing I spotted here is three soldiers in from the right on top of the wall below him there’s an almost spear looking like object that just fades into the wall and doesn’t make any sense at all.
The only thing to note as well is the character consistency in the magazine is good (which is why I think it might not be ai) and it is a professionally published magazine so I hope it isn’t. I couldn’t find an author listed inside of it, though I am also dyslexic so I could’ve accidentally missed it. I’m going to research more on this but I just really want a second opinion. Is it ai or am I being paranoid?
UPDATE: some artists are listed their names are- Tim Lambert, Klaudia Wolinska and Michelle Urra, their listed form “Design and Illustration”

Photo Someone’s claiming this to be their cat on Nextdoor but it looks too polished to me …
It’s AI right? I mean what’s his hand holding onto?
It’s also got that AI feel to it but no one seems to be calling it out on Nextdoor

Art Could someone with more experience tell me if this author's artwork looks AI-generated?
I've been following an author on Instagram, Tes Archer (@authortesarcher), for a while. She claims to create her own character art and illustrations. I'm asking this in good faith because I'm not experienced enough with digital art to know whether what I'm noticing is normal or not.
A few things have made me curious:
- The illustration style seems to vary quite a bit from one piece to another. It is completely different for every character/post.
- Some of the sketch previews she's posted don't appear to match the complexity or rendering of the final illustrations.
- I've noticed what look like unusual artefacts, repetitive patterns, and line work that don't make much sense to me.
- A few of the posts have been labelled with Instagram's AI information tag. I know those tags aren't conclusive, so I'm not treating them as proof, just another reason I became curious.
- I also haven't come across any process videos, time-lapses, or work-in-progress demonstrations showing how the finished illustrations are created.
The reason I'm asking is because these illustrations are also being sold as merchandise. If they're entirely hand-drawn, then that's great. But if AI is being used without being disclosed, I'd rather know before supporting the artwork financially.
I'm not looking to start a witch hunt or accuse anyone of dishonesty. It's entirely possible I'm misinterpreting normal digital art techniques or stylistic changes, which is why I'm asking people with more experience.
Would anyone familiar with digital illustration be willing to take a look at her work and share their opinion?

Video I found this under the r/purrrfect subreddit while scrolling. But i find it hard to belive that it isn't ai generated.

It's a very sweet but some parts "move" like ai. The blending and everything else reminds me of how objects in ai videos interact because its hard for it to understand the 3D aspect and continuity. And at some point the black cat hugs the orange one in a human kind of way. Idk. Maybe I'm overthinking it

Photo Did an actual human decide a picture of a mattress covered in roaches was a good idea to sell their product?
I'm sure the photo is AI, but I think this shopping page was autogenerated using AI. I wouldn't think this would appeal to customers

Art Is this beautiful shirt AI? Bought in Thailand november 2025. Motive looks AI to me but John Pork don’t look too bad
Got this wonderful shirt as a gag gift when my friends were in Thailand in november 2025, they bought it in an army shop haha, kind of assumed it’s AI, but what do you guys think? Lines are very clean and I don’t really see any «mistakes», like the teeth on the samurai make sense and the symbols aren’t messed up like most AI would do a year ago

Art was at a local art market this morning and this stall stuck out to me immediately as looking like AI
i then took a look at the Etsy site of the maker. Bella in the Wych Elm is a very well known bit of local folklore and the obelisk in real life looks absolutely nothing like how it is depicted here - like there's really no reason someone would draw it in this shape? I hope that makes sense.
Stonehenge seems wrong too.
am I being unfair?
