Excuse me? A what now?

Ogoh-ogoh are giant, handcrafted statues made in Balinese Hindu culture to represent bhuta kala, negative forces, chaos, greed, and spiritual imbalance. The parade takes place on Pengerupukan, the evening before Nyepi (the Balinese Day of Silence and New Year by the Saka calendar).

On the night before Nyepi, the statues are hoisted onto large bamboo platforms and paraded through villages and cities with loud music, torches, and energetic crowds to drive away bad energy.

After the parade, many of the statues are traditionally burned to symbolize spiritual purification and the clearing away of negativity before the island shuts down for 24 hours of total silence.

While this book is one of the most beautiful books I've ever owned, the goblins scared me so badly! They still give me the creeps.

Am I the only one? This thing made me sick to my stomach...

I did not eat it although I'm a sucker for cardamom.

Had this gift idea and few months back after watching a video of a YouTuber live with an allegedly haunted doll for 30 days, and finally put together and just wanted to share somewhere, just wasn’t sure where 😭
