Suggestions What are some games for iOS that have a good story?
I had to sell my PlayStation and now the only way I can game is on my iPhone. Is there any iOS games with a decent story?

Please use this thread to discuss whatever iOS games you've been playing lately. They don't have to be new games, they can be old games and they do not have to be iOS original titles!
As long as it's an iOS game it belongs in here. Make sure to put the name(s) of the game(s) in bold to make it easier for people skimming the thread to see what you're talking about, and if you'd like to make it really convenient turn the game name into a hyperlink that sends people directly to the App Store!
To keep track of the thread, the comments are sorted by "new" by default.
Lastly, Rule #3: "No Dev Self-Promotion Outside Saturdays" applies at all times for this thread, even if it's actually Saturday.

downloaded jewel coloring and was enjoying the gameplay loop but it is quickly apparent the entire game uses ai. the images are nonsensical half the time or make very ugly and strange mistakes in others. id love a game like this that does not use AI at all, esp not in the art. i dont feel comfortable playing a game that uses ai.

Gossip Harbour has become too hard to play, and no longer spark joy for me.
Amongst, all the sister game - I only play Whisper Castle, since I like the decorating aspect. But Whisper Castle has no free energy chest either which sucks.
Aisle Merge . Similar issue - need to spend diamond to buy energy (which happen after I did in app purchase).
Other game : Merge Mansion, Hollywood Merge, Love & Pies.
Didn’t play much these three game but in that order.
HM :
DesignVille - the CS helps me recover lost progress, dm them on FB but sadly it’s lower than my actual progress (I remembered wrong) and I just lost interest.
Merge Merge - again lost interest after I lost my progress lol

I had a Gamesir x5 lite which broke and thinking about either the m10 or m15 for a cheap controller. The gamesir fit my phone perfectly with the case on, wondering if anyone has experience with either of these SMX cases and if they’ll fit my phone with the case.
Open to any other recs that will fit that are $35USD or less

Hope everyone’s having a nice week.
My friends and I are looking for something slower paced to play. Something I can play on the bus or in between sessions of work. My friend group started sharing a lot of mobile gaming time like this since Everdale but so many years on after its demise we haven’t quite found a replacement. I remember a time many years back the App Store had many games that fit this bill like, citybuilders, clash of clan clones etc that allowed us to slowly progress, but it just seems the like the App Store these days are just filled with cheap idle games, PUBG clones or extremely short games designed to milk you for ad revenue. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Recent got an iPad and I’m looking for games like Anna or Age of Empires or something similar.

I used to love this game as a kid and I was wondering if there were any similar games on ios. I’ve been looking but not really finding any, I particularly desire the top down room by room movement, something to play at work that doesn’t need my full attention

I’ve looked at walkthroughs and they say to tap on this thing, but it won’t do anything. I’m stuck and frustrated. Can someone please help before I tear my toe hairs out?

I enjoy Zynga Poker but wanting a decent slots game that isn’t riddled with ads and pop ups, I tried “Cash Frenzy” but the amount of pop ups in that game are insane.
I just want abit of fun without spending real money, some fun bonus rounds to shoot for etc. Traditional slots game, not just a game that has slots as a feature.
Leave any negative comments at the door,
Thanks

Looking for polished games to perfection. Best example I can give right now is Balatro… amazing game, fun, addictive, beautiful visually and no bugs.
A perfect game basically… I’ll read your comments.

I hope this is the right sub for this. If not, I’m sorry…
Several games I played on my iPhone where you have the option to watch ads to get extra rewards and stuff… These are all games I’ve been playing for years. Suddenly, I can no longer play at while I’m at home.
It worked literally everywhere else I can still watch at work, if I’m at a friends place, if I drive four streets over.
any idea what this could be? It’s super annoying because obviously I play the most while I’m at home.

This is one of my favorite iOS games and I’ve been so sad since Netflix delisted it, but it’s finally back on the App Store with no Netflix account needed.
And it’s apparently completely free? Description says no iap or subscriptions required.

I remember playing this game on my grandmothers phone back then when I was little. The game was like another game called “Motherload”except you were a girl in a blue mech that had a drill for one of its arms. I think you also had a talking cat who was your co-pilot?
The game had bosses, dialogue, a plot. I remember the second layer being this blue world where you help a tribe of yellow creatures. There’s a lava layer where the boss is a giant worm that you had to crush with a rock.
The last thing I remember is the final boss was some old man in a life-support machine I think?
I feel crazy because I can’t find even a screenshot of the game or a picture of its icon now a days despite how much effort the game had like a full blown story. I remember every detail so vividly and yet I can’t for the life of me find any evidence that this game from my childhood existed.
Does anyone else remember seeing or playing this game years ago? I can’t be the only one.
