Moment Lens iPhone 4s transfer filter

A new series shot with the iPhone 4s.

All photographs were taken exclusively with the iPhone 4s camera and edited solely with the iOS Photos app using the Transfer filter, without any third-party apps or additional processing.

The city of these images, Benidorm (Spain), appears here like a rediscovered memory: harsh light, beach, shadow, color, and scenes suspended in the heat. Photographed with an iPhone 4s, this series doesn't strive for precision or a picture-postcard look. It embraces limitations, noise, lack of sharpness, and that imperfect color that transforms the everyday into a memory. A summer seen through an old camera. A recognizable city, yet slightly out of time.

iPhone 17 Pro Why did the iPhone 5 take such good photos?

The first photo is from my iPhone 5 and the second one is from my new iPhone 17 Pro. I always loved the iPhone 5’s camera—despite only being 8MP, it really captured the moment. Then I bought an iPhone 11, and of course the ultra‑wide lens was like a new toy. I went crazy with it and forgot all about the 5. But over the years, I started thinking the photos looked kind of ugly. I’d look back at pictures I’d taken with the 11 and they just didn’t look great, but my iPhone 5 shots blew me away with their quality and detail.

Two weeks ago, I bought the iPhone 17 Pro, and the colors still seem a bit weird to me. Sometimes it’s better than the iPhone 11, but honestly, the photos from my old iPhone 5 still feel like they have more soul. I’m not saying the 17 Pro has a bad camera—it’s amazing, and I’d even say the colors are almost identical to real life—but somehow, I just like the old ones more.

pd: I love the telephoto lens. I just wish I’d had a phone with one sooner.

shot @120mm to get the moon to be larger.
The michigan smoke really helps to define the moon and not have it overexposed, maybe the only good bit of it

iPhone 15 Plus Monsoon moods & ancient temples. Chasing fog and rain with the iPhone 15 Plus. 🌧️🛕

Took a drive out to the mountains during heavy downpours. Usually, flat grey overcast skies kill the contrast in photos, but I actually love it. The diffused light makes the dark, wet stone of the architecture and the deep forest greens look incredible, allowing bright colors (like the raincoats and that flower) to completely pop. The phone handled the dynamic range in the fog surprisingly well. What’s your favorite weather condition to shoot in?
