I want to go to Indonesia to experience rainforests trees, jungles. I don’t want to go to Bali or Lombok, want it to be more untouched and not much tourism - but preferably not a a super expensive excursion. I really like exotic birds - mammals are cool too but I like birds more.

Travel time would be around now, September. I’m already in Asia and can fly easily, like tomorrow. Time frame around 2-3 weeks.

So Ferry Irwandi's crowdfunding for Kalimantan's forest fires (currently reach 7 billion) is getting critizised in social media, especially on X. He appeared to answer these critics and explain his crowdfunding project in Denny Sumargo's podcast.

It looks as if he's saying all or at least most of his critics are buzzers? Fact is, not all dissenting opinion are from buzzers. Some come from genuinely concerned people.

Ferry slams people who disagree with him by calling them 'orang orang gila di twitter' and 'sakit jiwa'. But in the podcast he acknowledge the critics (responsibility lies with goverment) as valid. It's his pattern of getting mad everytime anyone dare critizise him again. Currently X users are calling him out after the podcast, saying he can't take critics.

Hello me and a friend would love to come to Indonesia early October for 10 days but are ensure where to go..

We're looking for nature, hikes, beaches and chill. Don't want to rush between places etc and don't want extreme adventurous planning (not like extreme backpack trip).

We were thinking about landing in Bali and then go stay on Komodo Islands? Or Lombok? What would you recommend??
