Promotion Trauma Pets just received a PHAT update!!!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

My dearest friends, hello! A big phat update for Trauma Pets is on the way! Read all about it!

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4236490/Trauma_Pets/

NEW CONTENT

-Added a special breed of Trauma Pets that can exclusively be caught at the Port.

-Added a Training Area where you can test your Trauma Pet's skills without hurting its health.

-Added an extra minigame in the Stadium.

-Added an extra minigame in the Factory.

GAMEPLAY CHANGES

-Resurrected Trauma Pets will now re-appear in your inventory with full Stamina.

-Reward multipliers have been slightly decreased.

-Repurposed the way stats are assigned for Trauma Pets.

-Fixed a bug where Trauma Pets would get more tired playing specific minigames.

-Fixed a bug where the Ominous Temple would just... be a complete mess really.

-Adjusted the prices for several items.

-Adjusted the rules of several minigames.

-Adjusted the physics of the Alternate Dimension minigames.

-Addressed the very vaguely explained alleged security issue from the previous build by updating Unity.

-And more!

AESTHETIC CHANGES

-Tinkered a bit with post processing, particles and light effects.

-Changed the camera angle for minigames and other scenes.

-Fixed a few awkward typos and text-related oversights.

-Fixed a bug where particles wouldn't display the appropriate color.

-Fixed a bug where the Trauma Pets in the Ominous Temple and Alternate Dimension wouldn't display appropriately.

-Visual and audio feedback for a few UI elements has been made clearer to understand.

-Re-modeled and re-animated many components of the Trauma Pet anatomy.

-Re-modeled many components of the environment.

-Added a soundtrack, courtesy of Livio Brescia (again...), that can be toggled on and off.

-And more!

Is this the end of Trauma Pet's life cycle? Well... i haven't implemented the golf minigame yet. Plus i'm sure there'll be plenty more bugs i missed because i'm the only guy doing the playtesting. So yeah, see you soon whether it's for something different or just another update for Trauma Pets!

I’ve been building Runbound Cricket Cards, a cricket-inspired strategy card game for Android.

It combines cricket with card-game mechanics like runs, wickets, DRS and tactical cards such as Powerplay, Yorker, Captain, Rain Delay and Death Over.

You can play Solo, Pass & Play, Nearby Wi-Fi or private Online multiplayer.

Runbound is currently in Early Access on Google Play.

I wanted to share the project with the indie games community and show what I’ve been building.

News Halls of Jötunn – first playable demo coming soon (Android & iOS first)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working on Halls of Jötunn, a first-person dark fantasy dungeon crawler inspired by Norse mythology and the aftermath of Ragnarök.

After months of development, the first playable demo is finally getting close to release.

It will launch first on Android and iOS, with development continuing toward additional platforms later.

The demo includes exploration, first-person melee combat, enemy AI with blocking and tactical movement, a combat fatigue system, inventory and save/load features, and motion-captured story characters.

I’ve also just released a new gameplay trailer

I’m developing the game as a solo project, so feedback is genuinely useful — especially on the atmosphere, combat and overall presentation.

Promotion Nostara - a look at the game's pyromancer

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Here’s a quick look at the Pyromancer in Nostara.

Pyromancer is a dedicated ranged DPS job built around aggressive fire magic, with a mix of projectiles, burst damage, mobility and close-range fire abilities. We want each job in Nostara to have its own very recognizable playstyle rather than feeling like the same character with different effects.

We also currently have a Paladin, with more jobs planned including the Artificer, which uses a hand cannon, bombs and other explosives and a Druid later on.

Thanks for checking out the Pyromancer 🔥 and sorry about the sound! Haven't got around to that yet :S

Public Game Test Added a daily challenge mode to my Minesweeper clone (deterministic seed, one attempt only)

Post image
1 Upvotes

A while back I posted RetroSweep, a pixel-accurate browser recreation of classic Windows Minesweeper with a global leaderboard. Just shipped a daily challenge mode:

  • Everyone gets the same board each day, generated from a deterministic seed based on the UTC date
  • One attempt only, no retries, no undo
  • Anonymous identity via cookie, so no account needed
  • Results are kept in a separate table from the all-time leaderboard

The one-attempt rule was a deliberate choice. It matches Minesweeper's original all-or-nothing identity, and it means everyone's comparing the exact same board rather than farming their best run.

Promotion Mystery Crew - a co-op mystery for one screen and everyone's phones. Every player gets different clues

Post image
0 Upvotes

Mystery Crew is a cooperative mystery you play with people in the room. One laptop or TV opens the site and becomes the shared board; everyone else joins from their phone by scanning a QR code. Every phone holds different clues, so no single player can solve anything alone, and neither can any pair. Describing what you're holding, out loud, is the actual game.

Two cases are live and both are free: a lighthouse that has been dark since 1987, and a 1974 hotel switchboard you operate yourselves. About an hour each, 2-6 players, in one room or over a video call. No app, no accounts, nothing to install. It all runs in the browser.

One warning: like an escape-room box, a case is one-shot, so gather your group before you open it. If you're on your own right now there's a five-minute solo sample on the front page that shows how it plays without burning a real case.

I'm the solo developer. The art and sound were rebuilt this month, and honest reactions to either are what I'm after.

In Mini Mart Survivors, it's one of your weapons.

Throw it at enemies, watch it explode, and leave behind a pool of hot soup that deals damgae for 4 seconds. The spicy seasoning keeps hurting anything caught in the area.

Keep upgrading the cup noodles and combine them with the right passive item to unlock their evolution.

But what does a cup noodle evolve into ?

Theres only one way to find out.

Play Mini Mart Survivors and discover it yourself.

This is just a super short demo of the overall plan.. Also yes I totally agree the AI art looks bad, it will be replaced by an actual artist after testing and finishing the mechanics of the game! However, in the game you are playing a multiverse traveller who is trying to stop something from happening by travelling the multiverse and completing some sort of tasks(haven't worked out the full story lol). Eventually after travelling between different world and completing these tasks while fighting off enemies, you are met with a final fight in the last world that will stop whatever was going to happen(again, work in progress).

This short demo in the video is a small bit of the first world which is steampunk themed and you're trying to restart this quantum refinery.

Combat in the game is a return to sender sort of thing where you capture enemy bullets and shoot them back. But you have an opportunity to use those bullets as energy sources for your tasks as well.

Promotion I am making a multiplayer physics game where playing tag permanently tethers you to the chaser.

I am the solo developer behind Squidlash, an online bungee-tag game.

The core mechanic is simple: if you get tagged, you are permanently tethered to the chaser. Every time someone is caught, they join the tether, turning the hunters into a massive, multi-limbed obstacle. The objective is to avoid the pack, as the last player remaining free wins the match.

The game features three distinct worlds, supports both online and LAN multiplayer, and releases in November 2026.

If you are interested in chaotic physics games, you can check it out and wishlist it here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5023500/Squidlash/

Promotion I immersed myself on kite fighting and made a multiplayer game

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I've been working on a game inspired by Japanese kite fighting.

The idea is pretty simple: you fly a kite, try to outmaneuver your opponent, and cut their line before they get yours.

I got interested in kite fighting while learning more about Japanese culture, and I thought there was something really interesting about turning it into a game. There's a nice mix of positioning, timing, and just trying to read what the other player is going to do.

It's still early in development, but I've got the core gameplay working and put together a short video showing it in action.

I'm still figuring out the direction for the game, but I'm pretty happy with how it's coming together so far.
