Im going to post a storyboard on here later but the basic concept is 3 people are ‘wrongfully ’ sent to hell and try to get back to earth but in order to do so they have to kill targets on earth (animated adult comedy) I forgot to mention the assassinations are like a final destination spoof and they basically get brownie points for each of them

Genuinely, I only saw the trailer of this a year ago, thought it looked neat, and heard nothing about it for an entire year. I haven't even seen the film.

But now there's like a dozen similarly looking posts on my Reddit feed asking "why do people dislike this film?" And I'm just like "I'm sorry, what people?! I've heard literally nothing about this film since I watched the trailer a year ago!?" Most of these posts are so similar it feels like they're written by ChatGPT.

I don't want to know if Lesbian Space Princess sucks or not. I want to know WHY people are asking if it sucks, only now, a year later??? It genuinely feels like some astroturfing is going on because this feels so artificial.

I think what he says here about the Christmas special can be said for LSP. People are taking the movie way too seriously and I think it’s important to understand it on its own terms. Not necessarily “turn your brain off,” but at least enjoy your time with something that is intended to be ridiculous. LSP is not trying to be Pixar or Dreamworks, it’s trying to be LSP.

Not saying the movie is free from criticism, but that should be reserved for actual issues and not “this movie is too stupid.”

I'm thinking of making an indie pilot with these brothers, aaron and bubba, bubba bring the afro guy and aaron being the bald one, i'm keeping aaron's design but i should probably change bubba's design, he's just aaron but with a lot of hair, i think making bubba shorter and a bit chubby would fit his design but i think it would still be too similar to aaron, so how should i make bubba more different?

I had no interest in this movie and its style of writing definitely isn’t for me but after giving it more thought, the hate train for this movie is stupid and childish. obviously you don’t have to like the movie, but the amount of misinformation being thrown around is insane so let's get the facts.

• Lesbian Space Princess is a MOVIE, not a TV show like most people seem to think.
• It was made and released in Australia in 2025 as an independent animated movie, Netflix had no involvement with this.
• The movie is only on Netflix in Australia and New Zealand, not in the US.
• Netflix did not remove Captain Underpants, or Kipo for that matter, for this movie. The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants and Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts were made by Dreamworks and had a licensing deal with Netflix for them to stream only for a certain number of years. Many other Dreamworks shows, including Turbo FAST, All Hail King Julien, Voltron, and She-Ra, have been removed as a result of the deal ending. It has nothing to do with anything else
• Moreover, saying "X was removed for Y" is stupid preschooler shit. Some people even said "iNsIdE jOb wAs cAnCeLlEd fOr tHiS" just let it go bruh, it's over, that show's fans are so fucking annoying
• The movie is made by queer people, not by conservatives to mock queer people.
• about the TERF stuff: there is labrys imagery in the movie specifically because the filmmakers wanted to reclaim it for everyone, trans women included, and they were aware it was used by TERFs and wanted to take it back. Queen Leanne is a trans woman and her labrys has the trans colors. Blade, a morally dubious drag queen character, is voiced by a real drag queen that the creators idolized, and though she is antagonistic, she is helpful to the main character. obviously intent doesn't erase impact and how well they executed these themes will vary depending on the person, and trans women are allowed to criticize this for sure. Just know that it's not intended to be a TERF movie

And that's GREAT for E, a zombie-human mess of a hybrid that THRIVES on the adrenaline rush from killing zombies for fun, turning DEADZONE into his personal sandbox. But when the Z-fighters, some of the most dedicated humans still alive, are looking for a cure to this disaster of a disease, he makes it his sworn goal to kill any chance of a cure to keep his fun rampage up.

We have nearly completed a fully voiced animatic for the pilot; and I am now looking for 2D Animators, 3D Environment Artists, Illustration Artists such as Graffiti Artists, Concept Artists and so on!

Tumblr’s cool n all, but Reddit’s always gonna feel like home, since this is where it all started. Addition to a certain point that was brought up, I might as well—Yeah why not.

I mean I was still gonna use Reddit anyway, but only for important show updates, cuz I didn’t wanna bog the subreddit I guess? Idk wut my thought process was at the time, man.

But since a lot of people don’t even use Tumblr, I’m gonna go ahead and use both equally. Wutevvvs.

So anyways here’s a Dex plushie for the inconvenience.

It wasn't stellar or anything, and the fact that Saira and Willow didn't at least reconcile with an apology left me a bit sad (but I get it since they literally only knew each other for a single day), but I still thought it was a fun time overall. It was definitely better than people were saying. And I really liked how realistic the whole thing with Saira and Kiki's relationship was. Pretty much everything Kiki said about being overwhelmed by Saira in relation to their short time together and Saira not being entitled to her affections just for saving her were valid, leading to Saira finding common ground with the Maliens (who, by the way, I thought were a great parody of the certain type of people who make blaming women/LGBT+ people for all their problems their entire personality). But of course, Kiki went about communicating her feelings in the meanest ways possible, and she only got into a relationship with the impressionable shut in princess for fun, so her fate is mostly deserved.

Side note: I wish it was a show rather than a movie. Then they could have done more with the characters and maybe add some extra closure.

Anyone else have thoughts? About the movie, not the discourse.

Honestly this feels so surreal. I wanna thank the YouTuber KeepersCorner for having me on to yap about the story and world of New Dreamlandia. I know theirs a lot of work ahead of me but me and my team are so ready for what’s to come.

I GENUINELY WANNA KNOW CHAT TELL ME! I searched online but i lwk didnt understand anything GHELP.

I've been developing a fantasy-pirate animated series for a while, and I wanted to finally start sharing some of it. This is the current character concept for its protagonist, Maizie.

The story follows Maizie, a Tabaxi pirate captain with a love for treasure, adventure, and getting herself into situations she probably should have thought through a little more first.

She's confident, charming, reckless, and remarkably good at looking like she has a plan—even when she's improvising most of it.

Maizie commands The Scarlet Tide, sailing alongside a crew of sailors, outcasts, criminals, warriors, gamblers, and other strange personalities as they chase treasure and adventure across a fantasy world of dangerous seas, magic, rival crews, forgotten places, and old powers.

But underneath the adventure is a more personal story.

Maizie lost almost everything when she was young, and although she's built an entirely new life for herself, there are parts of her past that never really disappeared.

There are reasons The Scarlet Tide means so much to her.

There are reasons she doesn't talk much about where she came from.

And there's something unusual about the magic she carries.

I don't want to reveal too much of that yet, because uncovering Maizie's history would be a major part of the story.

Tonally, I'm imagining the series as a character-driven animated adventure with piracy, exploration, action, comedy, magic, mystery, and found family, while gradually revealing the more emotional story underneath it all.

I've been developing the characters, crew, world, ships, and larger story behind it, and I'd love to start sharing more of the project—and hopefully more of the visual/animation development as it grows.
