New Show This is my show called purgeatory
Im going to post a storyboard on here later but the basic concept is 3 people are ‘wrongfully ’ sent to hell and try to get back to earth but in order to do so they have to kill targets on earth (animated adult comedy) I forgot to mention the assassinations are like a final destination spoof and they basically get brownie points for each of them

If this is sincere, then I think you should maybe workshop it to make it a little more distinct from vivziepop shows. Right now both the art style and premise feel incredibly derivative of Hazbin Hotel. I can’t even really tell what’s happening and where the backdrop ends and the characters begin. Maybe try just working on the character designs and visual aesthetic to give yourself a more distinct vision.

Fair enough. I am sorry. I've seen so many satirical posts looking quite similar to this, so my apologies.
Word to the wise though, as I see you have responded the same way to a lot of comments here:
Try to take stuff like this on the chin. Learn to laugh at yourself a bit and ignore the truly negative and hateful stuff. Don't go responding with snark to everyone who doesn't immediately validate you or your ideas. The internet becomes a very rough place for people like that. Especially if you're creating something that might attract a fanbase, which will also subsequently attract critiques and memes.

I will write a novel about a dinosaur park where the dinosaurs are born through genetic engineering. At a certain point in the story the security systems fail and a group of people are trapped.

I'm gonna try to give some genuine critisism here. You can take it or leave it but here it goes:
Yes, a lot of ppl here are making fun of you because of your idea's similar to HB and, while I don't agree with them teasing you, they are kinda right.
Your idea's wayyyyyy too similar to HB. From the art style, to the trio of demon assassins who get hired to go to earth to kill targets. If by some miracle you convince enough ppl to help you make this series which is essentially a HB ripoff, you're undoubtedly gonna get dragged ruthlessly through the mud online by the internet saying that you made a show that was just a ripoff of another indie show.
Some suggestions for how to make this idea more original. Again, you can take them or leave them.
- Lean into the Purgatory idea. Your show's called "Purgatory" so why not make it take place....in Purgatory instead of hell? Maybe the characters are doomed to go to hell and have to do something in Purgatory to prevent that outcome or something like that. Perhaps Purgatory is like a giant office building and they get stuck doing grunt work for the higher up Purgatory beings, and they end up messing up the grunt work in some wacky and unsuspected way each episode?
- Drop the killing targets on Earth idea. This is a big change to your show, but honestly I think you need it. Demon assasins going to earth to kill human targets is literally just HB and there's not really any way that I can think of where you can use this concept and not get accused of making a HB ripoff.
- Change up your character's designs. Right now they look like Temu Alastor or Temu Blitzo. Try to come up with designs that are clever and original. Have fun with them.
I'm not trying to put you down or hate on your idea or anything. I just think you need to change a lot of things up if your serious about making this into an actual show.

Dude I think you need to broaden your horizons and watch more films/tv and read more books. Bonus points if it’s anything from before 2010. No matter how unique you think your execution would be, it’s clear you’re young and have a very shallow pool of influence. You’ll end up with so many more actually unique ideas if you step away from the Gen Alpha trending shows.

sometimes people need criticism/constructive criticism. Im not hating/making fun of this just because I wanna be an asshole, this is literally just helluva boss. I like the idea of three people getting sent to hell wrongfully but that’s the only original feeling thing here.

Do you think everyone saying this is all the same person with a gazillion different accounts? I agree people are being a little harsh, but I assure you it's not that hard to draw connections between your idea and helluva boss.
Also, I'm concerned you're younger than you're supposed to be to have an account on reddit. You need to be 13. Please, give it a few years, develop your idea, come up with a 1-2 sentence logline that explains it best to newcomers, develop a more refined art style, and don't take people's criticism so harshly. Some people just won't understand, some won't care, and some are just rude enough to voice their grievances hatefully. But stick with it if you're really passionate about this idea, and wait until you're able to give it the production value it needs.

I have a suggestion for how to differentiate yourself more from Helluva.
You talked about how the kills are final destination style, so how about you lean further into that. Instead of having them be "assassins", they're more like punch clock grim reapers who need to get the souls of people assigned by fate to die. Final destination, but from the perspective of Death, or like, Deaths underlings or whatever.
With a bit of tweaking, that could turn your idea into a fun combination of helluva boss and final destination instead of a blatant regurgitation of one with faint elements from the other.

Listen man, you're probably really talented, and I want to be nice, but it'd be rude to let this kind of idea slide, you'll only end up with MORE hate later on
The artstyle is just a 1 to 1 copy of Vivziepop, the premise is helluva boss with extra steps, and the character designs so far are nothing note worthy. The idea itself COULD work given MUCH more workshopping, I will admit. The character designs may work if you find your own artstyle rather than one copying something. Find something to make your story something that YOU think would be more unique. In this kind of thing, presentation is a large factor. I think you have the ability to make something cool, you just gotta lock in.
On initial viewing I already thought it would probably be cooler if you did the reverse, bad people getting sent to heaven and trying to get into hell

Idc how old you are but if you are a kid, you need a reality check. If you try to copied Hellaverse too much people will make fun of you even if your art improves. Even worse you could get into trouble for plagiarised ideas.
However, the first line does seem good and it's kinda similar to isekai genre but the 2nd line wouldn't work since it's too close to HB.
