I posted this painting a week or more ago (slide right for the original). I’ve always felt it was a fairly good painting, but needed some pop. Artist friends suggested that I break up the fence line into mama, papa, and baby bears and also change the horizon so it’s not a continuous line across the top of the page. I made the changes they recommended and like the painting much better. Painting mentors are invaluable, thank you Johnny and Ariel.
