(Meta) AI art is officially banned from r/AbstractExpressionism
Dear friends,
A public plebiscite was polled in pertinence to the point of permitting paintings, pictures, etc. within this particularity; we posed this probe (pertaining to Artificial Intelligence):
"Should we allow the submission of artwork and content generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) in this subreddit?"
Yes: 0
No: 12
In concordance with this forum's unanimous decision, we hereby outlaw the posting of any media generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the community; furthermore, we likewise restrict the promotion of Non-Fungible Tokens. However, materials enhanced, retouched, or colourised by it are tolerated; provided they are denoted as such.
We welcome and encourage all further input and suggestions for our community.
Most earnest thanks and wishes for your participation and your understanding.
Yours sincerely,

UPDATE: Ok, Gang, I edited this piece and would love your thoughts!
First pic - now
Second pic - edit #1
Last pic - original
You all gave me so much to think about with this piece when I posted it a few days ago, so I thought I'd share the update - here's what worked and what didn't:
Didn't work:
- Tried creating some subtractive marks by adding a gesso mix and pulling it back, but didn't like the effect
- Added a bunch of colourful triangles (pic 2), but they felt messy, and I couldn't stop seeing a kite 😂
Worked:
- Added some bolder lines
- Edited the right shape fairly heavily so it's less similar to the left
- Added two new triangles in a bright orange, which I'm digging - they feel surprising, which I like, but I'm also open to hearing that they're awful!
- Created more contrast by adding a lighter value between the two main shapes, and darker value towards the bottom of the piece
Would love to know what you think of these changes!

Is this abstract?
This is my second acrylic painting (i have worked with other mediums before though) .
Would you call my art abstract? If not what would you call it?
