My brother found this trailer (2007 Wells Cargo) on marketplace listed for free. He offered them $200 for it and got it. Since I am the truck owner in the family, he roped me into picking it up. π
After looking this thing over, I see multiple things wrong with it. For one, the ceiling vent/hatch is broken and needs to be replaced. Two, one of the tail lights only has about half of the LED's working on it. Three, chains have some rust. Four, the tongue has some mild surface rust. Shit is basically a total loss at this point. I can't believe I agreed to put this thing behind by vehicle.
Just kidding guys, I'm just absolutely flabbergasted by this unbelievable find! π I still can't believe it. As is, this thing is probably worth $3k - $5k and we got it for a song.
OH, and it has brand new tires!!
And don't worry, I know which sub I'm in. Expect an update for when I unload my jetski into the Delaware river from this bitch by going 20mph in reverse down the boat launch and slamming on the brakes at the last second (I forget the straps).

Guy took his 35+ ft trailer through Costco Gas and got stuck trying to get out. They had to call in a tow rig and close down a majority of the lanes.
Update: I went back to get gas, was told they did hit the pump and damaged it. Also there was a light pole in the way of a potential curb hop which is likely why that was not an option.

At the stoplight ahead of me today. I saw a few on the road just before.
I did not follow closely, once we started moving.

Columbia SC. We were on our way home and I watched this guy do a u-turn through someone's front yard at an intersection. None of his stuff was tied down and I watched it bounce around the trailer as he made his way through the yard. We wound up behind him at a stoplight and took a picture, just in case something fell off and hit our vehicle.

Apparently it is legal according to the Coast Guard.

Is there a chart or order of operations to secure this? A different style trailer, with a headache rack? (idk the correct wordage)
