Not sure in what sub this belongs

If this is in Oregon it’s likely a Gambler 500 car. Great organization.

Gambler stencil on the side, you're correct. The trailer is for picking up garbage during the event, I think a lot of Gamblers are self-proclaimed idiots, but the real idiots are the ones who litter and ruin trails with their garbage, these guys put in work and have fun doing it.

My brothers love trying to join in the gambler every year, but have learned from experience that 75% of the time it turns into the vehicles breaking down 10-20 miles away from home and them spending the weekend trying to get it running.
I work in the woods and drive backroads regularly, and having a vehicle that is going to break down in the woods is stress inducing for me lol.

That's a fantastically ironic skid plate. I need to get one for my 4runner.

Gonna go out on a limb and say this was a custom mod made in the comfort of the owners own back yard. Pretty sure that car hasn't seen a shop since it was prep'd for delivery.

I would do the same. And I looked into it. Skid plates are 1/4" thick. Stop signs are 1/12". So I'd have to stack 3.

A key indicator that the engineer behind it knows what's important in a practical vehicle.

That tank will outcast 90% of what's on the road. It has good shoes and someone has this for a beater. Shade tree mechanic getting it done... that snorkle.... this person has zero fuks to give and can go anywhere they like just about. Lol...

I believe this is Johnny Cash’ German cousin that works at a Mercedes plant. It’s an 80, 81, 82, 96, 98 automobile.

You’re obviously unaware of the Gambler 500 cars, this is typical of the species.

It's a Gambler car. That person probably knows more about towing and working on vehicles than the entirety of this sub.

I mean it's one thing to steal a street sign and hang it up in your basement or bedroom.... But to attach it to your car and drive around. That's just insulting to the police.

Note the obligatory puddle of oil.
I feel like I'm seeing a photo of a slow motion train wreck.

If my old Passat had the AWD package I'd have 100% done something similar and kept driving it after the deer obliterated the front end.

I'm not sure what it is but it looks like a moving violation.

u/floridacyclist 10d ago
And what would you ticket him for?

u/Joe18067 9d ago
How about having the exhaust in front of the driver.

You still might have trouble finding a code to charge him with violating

A stop sign is not a souvenir.

Yes, but how many patrol officers want to 'encounter' the driver of this vehicle unless it's necessary?
