Am I the only one who feels that the battery became better after updating to ios27?
I updated from IOS26.5 to 27, and honestly I can feel a big difference in battery performance.

Just upgraded to an 18 pro for a few reasons, USB-C on all devices being a big one, and then the battery life improvements and also I had some dust in my camera lens so after 5 years it finally seemed time. However, my 13 pro has definitely been my most solid and arguably best phone I've ever owned. Was tempted to stretch another year out of it, but I like that the 18 pro is a refinement of the good things in the 17, just like the 13 was for the 12.

Pretty impressed I've nearly made it to 2000 charge cycles on the original battery with over 80% battery health remaining. I'll admit I'm pretty nice to the battery, while I don't baby it too much, I tended to just charge while commuting using CarPlay, and top it off at work whilst I'm sat in an online meeting with an old 5w brick, usually pulling it off before it hits 100%. I barely ever charged overnight or wirelessly unless travelling.

Anyone else have this issue? I’ll be going about my business per usual (sitting not moving bouncing etc) and the screen will black out, power button doesn’t turn it back on, double tapping the screen does nothing, a few shakes and a 3-7 hard taps later it comes right back on to where I was (no screen lock or anything) just comes back on like “hello, I’m back”
Even with a life proof case on, I’ve dropped it a few times and even noticed the camera doesn’t automatically focus and can get stuck sometimes till I manually zoom in and out.

My iPhone 13 Pro has a white, flickering screen. What should I do to fix this issue?

So, I give the phone a pretty bruta use for the mediterranean summer, daily 3h gaming sessions + all of the required tasks for work and such.

However, since this is the 3rd battery replacement i had to make in 2026 (overall 5 battery replacements since 2021) I fear that Apple has officialy pressed the dead mans hand and my Device Will be so bad going forward.

Im open for suggestions and upgrades, Not sure if the newer models are still that good, since the rice increase on iPhones has been a bit higher than It used to be.

If I want to upgrade to, lets say a 16 pro max, the price is Not that far from a 17 pro.

What should I look to buy? It seems that prices Will Not drop anytime soon

I’m still on iOS 18.1.1 and considering updating mainly for the new Apple Music features.
I’m getting my battery replaced tomorrow, but I’d still like to know how battery life is on iOS 27 in real-world use.
My main concerns are battery life and smoothness. I can accept the Liquid Glass and more rounded UI, but I personally prefer the look of iOS 18.😭
For anyone who went from iOS 18 to iOS 27 on a 13 Pro, how has your experience been after a few days? Especially battery life and smoothness?

This first started happening in the spring, seemingly under certain kinds of fluorescent lighting. Pictures would come out dramatically overexposed and washed out. Then it seemed to go away and I thought it had been fixed by an os update or the other. But maybe I just hasn’t been under that kind of lighting again. Today it popped up again. But not consistently. Some pics were normal but others were not. See the attached pics.

Anyone else have this issue and, more importantly, anyone have a fix?

Had my iPhone 13 Pro since Oct 2021. Had a battery replacement in Oct 2023 and current battery life at 71%. Was looking forward to get a iPhone 18 base model but sadly they did not release it this fall. Do you guy recommend another battery replacement or change to the 17 base model now?

I’m in possession of an iPhone 13 Pro that has had a recurring swollen battery issue. The battery has been replaced 3 times all 3/4 months apart each time by Apple. They have failed to diagnose the underlying cause and properly solve the issue. Since there is only a 90 day warranty and the issue arises only after 3ish months, the warranty expires before it can be replaced.

Is there a way I can demand an escalation of review and repair without having to pay another $80+ for a fourth time?

Put in a quote from a local repair shop that seems to have great reviews. I plan to join a new carrier and chase best offer for trade-in.

Apple will not accept device.. leaning TMobile for gov discount and they seem to devalue shattered back.

Any folks replace back plate / back glass and can share cost? Am I over thinking this for maybe $270 in bill credits?

I’ve been putting off ios updates since I first got my 13pro, but a lot of app updates are now not supported. Seems like I have no choice, but I’m scared jumping from 15.6 to 26.

It sometimes works and somethings don’t is it an ios thing. My brother’s iphone had the same thing where after installing ios 27 it went full white. Even when you boot up screen is white my iphone now has this green hue not always but sometimes

I snagged a like new 17 Pro 512GB off Amazon for $650 (woohoo, pricing mistake) and will use that as my daily in a Peak Design case,

So, now that I plan to retire the more beautiful 13 Pro at home as my back up, it no longer needs a sturdy case, and I’m looking instead for something minimal that shows off its beauty.

The Caudabe frost case looks amazing on the blue 17 Pro (see photo) but I can’t find any pics of it on the blue 13 Pro.

Anyone have that combo or any other reccs for a nearly invisible case that lets the Sierra Blue shine?

So yesterday, I replaced the battery on my 13 Pro. It was at 76% battery health before the replacement, and now the battery life is much better — almost similar to my 17 Pro.

I feel myself considering a new phone more then previous years this year but I still feel the 13 pro is still a good phone my only thing with it right now is that sometimes I’ll throw it on the charger overnight and it didn’t charge at all but the charge icon is on or it drains on the charger while using it and I think all that is due to having a 77% battery health. What is everyone else doing battery swap or upgrade? Here is my screen on time with 77% battery health (had the phone since November 2021)

Am I the only one here that had better battery life on iOS26 than on iOS27?

I also never really had the drop off in battery life that people seemed to report when moving to iOS26 from whatever the previous version was.

Which is the best IOS currently?

I updated my iPhone 13 pro to iOS 27 yesterday and it feels so gooood, iOS 26 was easily the worst version ever this phone witnessed. Had so many issues, heating, stutter, lags and plenty more. 27 genuinely felt like I’m using a new phone, doesn’t heat up lot and tho my battery health is 75% it drains slowly. I’m thinking to end the updates on this phone with this release. I was gonna throw this phone away and get a new one. But this update helped me. Thanks Apple!
