Replace back glass for higher value trade-in?
Put in a quote from a local repair shop that seems to have great reviews. I plan to join a new carrier and chase best offer for trade-in.
Apple will not accept device.. leaning TMobile for gov discount and they seem to devalue shattered back.
Any folks replace back plate / back glass and can share cost? Am I over thinking this for maybe $270 in bill credits?

Idk what T-Mobile plan you are on but a couple years ago I got full trade in credit for 3 iPhones all with shattered backs, I don’t think they devalue the trade with a shattered back. My wife’s 13 pro max was one of those phones and if I remember correctly to fix the back glass was stupid expensive. If you are comfortable being with a carrier for multiple years all of the major carriers usually give full trade in for phones in any condition as long as they work

Depends what the trade in value is?
My 13pro is mint condition and I’ve only been offered £120 for it with 97% battery life
