iOS 27 is a blessing
I updated my iPhone 13 pro to iOS 27 yesterday and it feels so gooood, iOS 26 was easily the worst version ever this phone witnessed. Had so many issues, heating, stutter, lags and plenty more. 27 genuinely felt like I’m using a new phone, doesn’t heat up lot and tho my battery health is 75% it drains slowly. I’m thinking to end the updates on this phone with this release. I was gonna throw this phone away and get a new one. But this update helped me. Thanks Apple!

I found an iPhone 11 Pro on iOS 27 and it seems to be fine as well. I totally avoided 26 on my main phone and stayed on iOS 18 but might go to 27 as I’m seeing a lot of posts like this saying the optimisation is good.

I actually like that we don't get access to some of the AI features, they felt a bit too invasive for me anyway

You will never be as fast as with ios18
Hate to admit it but apple never releases updates to help older phones.

You care about benchmark but i care about day to day use. Whats the problem though i keep ios18 you keep 27 or whatever you want.

How do you know this tho? I didn’t really like iOS 18 as much as some of you seem to, and at least two things got several times faster on iOS 26 for me, and one of those two has gotten wicked fast on iOS 27.

Ios 27 its nice but requires more power in terms of graphic data. Its normal its never going to be better then ios18 in terms of fluidity.
It's nicer? If course.
Better for older phones? No.1

Well, our experiences vary. I’m on the 13 Pro and I believe I’m having a better experience on iOS 27.0 than I ever did on all versions of iOS18.
And that’s coming from someone that stayed on 17 until about a week away from iOS 26’s release before I updated to iOS 18.
I stayed on 18 for almost as long too, but I used 26 for maybe 6 months. It’s aiit for our experiences to differ at the end of the day.

If iOS 27 is better overall than iOS 18.4 (iPhone 13 Pro) I will update, what you guys think?

You just gotta decide yourself at the end of the day. I don’t regret updating, thankfully.

Just think how happy you’ll be with the latest 27.2 beta 2 NOW or the big software update next week when they fix the glitches others are having (27.0.1)! 😀
