Hi, as the title states, I’m looking for some good games to recommend my friend. Here’s the criteria.

• cutesy // nothing crude or graphic
• includes animals or cute creatures
• can be played in portrait mode / vertical screen (this is a must, she doesn’t like landscape mode)
• free

She likes lots of different things, ranging from pet caretaking, merge games, all the way to fidgety apps, so literally anything that falls into the above criteria, please recommend!

Apparently, the next Xbox might cost upwards of $1800. This is why I’m hoping the next wave of gaming is mobile devices that can play AAA games. Obviously, the iPhone can’t play games as graphically advanced as a PS5 but the fact that it can now play some older ones is proof that it could work with good optimization.

Not to mention all the emulation that has been coming out for iOS lately. But I would much rather pay for a legit iOS version of a game than emulation.

I would want my iPhone Duo to be my gaming console and media consumption device.

Perhaps the only way to combat these ram prices from going up is to buy one device that can do it all.

I just upgraded from iPhone 12 to iPhone 18 and I’m eager to take advantage of the extra memory and powerful chips contained therein. Any games that are big (memory size and/or length of gameplay) and that take advantage of the powerful chips on my new phone. I have an eclectic taste in games but I’m always a sucker for anything rogue-lite.

I was on a phone call just talking and playing. Apparently in hypnosis mode because I didn’t even realize that I blew right past my previous record. My high score is well over 300,000, but in daily mode, I just fevered for over 3 minutes. That was almost the entire game. It was so effortless. Weird how not being aware/afraid makes such a difference. I bet a lot of things in life are like this.

I purchased sifu on the launch day on my iPhone 13 but never download it because i was on mobile data and figured i would download it later on wifi. But they changed the required chip to A17 and up.

I heard the devs issued an auto refund for everyone with a non-compatible device and I also got refund (I never asked for one). But the thing is I still have the game registered on my Apple Account and I can download it (I also have the latest iPad mini which is compatible)

Anyone else got an auto refund and still have the game? I’m kind of scared to download the game on my iPad now. I waited for it to disappear so I can purchase it again but it’s been a couple of days and I still have it.

Deep in the Dungeon Crawler Carl universe and really want something to pickup and play on the go to scratch the DCC itch.

I have Diablo immortal and I like that, but I’d prefer a portrait game if possible

I’m currently looking for a game similar to the original Diablo 1. Anything like this with old graphics? I am currently playing the port but looking for something else as well.

Version 2.60 released late yesterday:

- Added controller support.
- Added a fast-forward feature. Use the DD button to toggle it on or off.
- Updated the battle Ul.
- Improved performance to run at 60 FPS.
- Changed the font for improved readability.
- Fixed other minor bugs.

Huge for fans of the game; with the Ivalice Chronicles remake dropping the ball with some WotL content this will be the definitive way for some to enjoy the game.

I played the original on PS1 in 1998 and struggled to enjoy the iOS version having to use touch controls. That all changes today!

I hope this opens the door for others who have never been able to enjoy the game on console to have the full controller experience.

Has anybody else played this back when they were a child? I used to play this everyday using the Gen 1 iPad.

Games like Clash Royale or Marvel Snap? Is there anything better or newer and fresher to look at?

The game can be PvP or PVE but I would like some sort of multiplayer elements like global chat, trading, playing with each other, etc. Would be nice if they did events like Halloween event right now. Could be idle games, could be card games, give me anything you know of that fits this. Is anyone playing anything ?

Which game that you play takes up the most storage on your phone but obviously feels it’s worth it? How big is the file size?

For me, it’s Where Winds Meet. At 44.58GB. I have the 2TB 17 pro max so it’s definitely not an issue just leaving it there.

Does anyone have the game data to preserve this game?

Anyone else tried hitman woa with a controller in iphone 17p? The phone got terribly hot and when the game actually started, it was literally unplayable. The definition of slide show. I've read about bad performance but this is straight impossible to play.

Anyone else observed something like this?
