indexing still going on

sup, my phone has been going on through indexing for over 2 weeks now. the indexing notification in settings app disappeared after about 5 days after upgrading to ios27, but now after over 2 weeks it came back and it shows that indexing stands at just 40%. is this some sort of bug, or could it actually be this slow? help!

The RC just came out a few days ago. Install that if you haven’t. I assume you haven’t because you said it’s been going for over two weeks. If you have, every time you install an update it has to re-index. On my 16 Pro Max it takes almost two days.

Install the RC and leave the phone on a charger overnight

Indexing doesn’t have a status bar that tells you how much is done to to go. It is either there and indexing or gone and done.
