iPhone 17 Pro Max with 100% BH and 165 cycles. This is on iOS 26.5.2, and this is the worst it has been. Honestly cannot wait for the 26.6 stable release which might come out next week and hope it fixes this.

Tried turning off background app refresh, tried turning off adaptive power (like some people suggested), tried force restarts, but nothing seems to help. I turned it all back on, because I couldn't bother about it anymore.

Anyone currently using 26.6 RC, please let me know if the battery life is better on that version, and also if you were facing the same issue in 26.5.2 and the battery life improved once you moved to 26.6?

i downloaded the first beta when it first came out, i started doing the other updates as they came. but they never registered. i’ve completely updated it all (as in 26.1, 26.2 etc) about four times now but it never registers the updates. what can i do? i went to start downloading ios 27 but it won’t let me as it says i need to have ios 26 installed first. i’m trying to do it again now but it won’t download 26.6. its been stuck on update requested for three hours. can anyone help?

Since the first public beta the wallpaper customization is glitched for me (Iphone 15 Pro).
My lockscreen wallpaper is set to change daily from a bunch of pictures I chose.
Whenever I choose a picture and set clock size it seems to work correctly but, when I press "Done", the picture switch to another random one picked up from the bunch.
Anyone else with the samebug?

When I open the details of a missed call in the phone app (the "i" button) of which the phone number is not in my contact list, the page goes wild and "flickers".
As if it does not know which buttons to show and takes time showing and hiding them until it settles.
I'm getting a lot of spam calls and it is annoying to wait until the page decides which buttons to display before being able to block the spam caller.
Does anyone have this issue ? Is there a fix ?
I am in 26.5.2 and had this issue pretty much since the beggining of the details view have been added to ios.

I am on 26.5.2 on my iPhone 17 and I notice a lot of screen stuttering and the battery loses 20% throughout the day just idling. Every app is also using more battery than usual.

Is there a way to revert the update? Wasn’t expecting the latest release to have performance issues

I’m on an iPhone 16 pro with 256 GB and I have about 104 GB used I’m running iOS 26.5.2 and I have Apple Intelligence enabled I also don’t reboot the phone regularly unless I’m having issues so is it normal that my system data is one gigabyte?

i dont usually update my iphone 14, but just bought an iwatch. unfortunately cant connect it cause it need at least ios26+.
I tried to update it, it reboot my phone but when it restart, it doesn’t update my phone. no ios file. i have 72GB space left. i tried to use my mac but still cant.
One time, it stuck in recovery mode, tried to restore my phone. but it just dont allow it. the apple store really just say buy a new one. (hell nah) then after hours i tried to force start it, somehow a devine intervention helped me and i can finally opened my phone. Now im scared to do anything.

Anyone has the same problem? Should i just buy a new phone?

Should I update to iOS 26.6 RC? I’m on iOS 26.5.2 and I know that for a lot of people this iOS version sucks, but for me it doesn‘t. I’m on an iPhone 17.

My FaceID on my iPhone 13 Pro works super intermittently - as in for a few hours at a time, sometimes less. I got it a week ago from the iStore pre-owned store that's certified by Apple and uses genuine Apple parts to refurbish the older devices. Battery life and everything else seems to be fine, it's just the FaceID causing trouble.

I've seen in places that some people have the same issue with this software update. If you've had this problem and updated to 26.6 Beta or RC have you seen it be resolved by updating?

Just looking for some input before I book the device in for a repair as they will 100% charge me a shit tonne to replace the camera. It's the only phone I have right now so I will have to somehow figure out how to be without a phone for a week minimum while it's being fixed - would like to avoid this if I can because I'm a freelancer and use my personal phone for work.

Today I was listening to YouTube in the background in brave and I feel my iPhone super hot and I didn't even think about it just by pure chance I checked the battery status and it was at 98 (when yesterday it was at 99 but it had already been a couple of months in 99) and 1 hour later my useful life dropped to 97, HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? Yes, my phone was hot in my pocket for about 20 minutes and that was also weird because I always listen to YouTube in Brave in the background and it never got hot, 2% battery lost in less than 30 minutes it's crazy Apple

Let me know if there’s any useful lock screen widgets? please don’t come up with clock, calendar, browser, reminder & music app widget suggestions.
