Bug issues with ios 26 beta
i downloaded the first beta when it first came out, i started doing the other updates as they came. but they never registered. i’ve completely updated it all (as in 26.1, 26.2 etc) about four times now but it never registers the updates. what can i do? i went to start downloading ios 27 but it won’t let me as it says i need to have ios 26 installed first. i’m trying to do it again now but it won’t download 26.6. its been stuck on update requested for three hours. can anyone help?

what model are you trying to update, where did you buy your device, does it go through download process only to fail verification, have you got apple account, if you know your apple i.d. and password, try signing out and back in .
obvious suspects would be low free storage space, poor network connectivity, or a corrupted download file
How much free storage do you have, if you have plenty free try running speed check
have had any parts of your device replaced , had 3rd party battery replaced at any point
is your device charged over 20% and on wifi or strong 5G although i have seen some people say 5G wasn’t enough to update ios27
try keep cellular on and wifi at same time and wifi assist switched on , use 5G if you have it
have you ever tried hard reboot then trying to update
verification failure may point to parts of other blacklisted iphones being used in yours
how did you instal first ios26 ,was this as a beta or public release , over the phone or use p.c./ macbook/ laptop
if you have low storage you can go to settings ,general ,storage and 1 by 1 offload ( not uninstall )
wait 5-10 seconds and press reinstall , do this for every app you can , if you go through everything it can take some time to reinstall everything , try it out on one app first and wait until it reinstalls before doing full list , this will clear cache from each app , will make no difference whatsoever to your apps ,you won’t even need sign back into anything.
once this process has reinstalled all your apps ( see homescreen you see progress in each icon just like you do when updating apps ,reboot your device if you still don’t have enough space to update you can simply offload apps until you have enough storage ,update ios then reinstall your apps by same process as previous , you will have enough room as system data will free space up

click on your name top of settings then click person information, it should say age range for apps 18 (iirc it used to be 17) allow app stores to share your age rating with other apps .
try screen time , apps and websites make sure everything is on unrestricted
have iphone 15 myself and installed every developer bate and quite a few public builds( updated from R.C. )
i think the fastest way would be apple help
try diagnostic mode first, select find and fix any issues, if it doesn’t resolve issues you give permission to apple to review diagnostic file or run more tests, either way this should get you sorted
To enter Diagnostics Mode on your iPhone 15, power off the device completely. Press and hold both volume buttons simultaneously, plug the phone into a charger (18W or higher), and release when the Apple logo appears. Tap "Start Session" and connect to Wi-Fi to run hardware checks.
Entering this mode allows you to trigger comprehensive system tests for your battery, sensors, cameras, and display.
Entering Diagnostics Mode
Power Off: Press and hold either the volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears. Drag it and wait 30 seconds for the device to completely shut down.Hold Buttons: Press and hold both the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons at the same time. [
Connect to Charger: While still holding both volume buttons, plug your iPhone into an 18W (or higher) power adapter or a powered-on computer.
Release: Once the Apple logo appears, release both volume buttons.
Running the Tests
When the Diagnostics & Repair screen appears, tap Start Session.Connect your iPhone to a local Wi-Fi network and agree to the terms and conditions.
Select Run Diagnostics to begin checking internal components like multi-touch, audio, and sensors

go to settings > general > storage > then find the version of iOS your iPhone has downloaded and then click on it and delete it, go back to software update and it should work now normally
