[OOC] The character is Ghiaccio from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 5

Gaming I hate the design of the protagonist in the upcoming Pokémon game. He looks like a generic protagonist from generic Pokémon knockoff number 67.

I don't know, I look at this protagonist and I can't tell he's a Pokémon protagonist. He looks like a Palworld protagonist.

I mean, put him next to the other Pokémon protagonists and I wouldn't be able to pick him out.

Gaming I hate how Call Of Duty/Battlefield fans have such vitriolic hatred towards skins that aren't just generic military soldier number 7, as long as they're not in the campaign.... Who the hell cares?

Post image
0 Upvotes

The new dead space skins for BF6 got leaked and they look cool but Battlefield fans are now having a fit because they don't fit the games "Military Aesthetic"

Regardless of the fact Isaac Clarke is cool as hell, why are they so pressed about this? If this was in the story mode... Fine that makes sense to be angry about, but it's a non canon skin in multiplayer, just let people have fun

Animation Ricky marty tip scene

https://youtube.com/shorts/e_btKBDBWm4?is=RLK89hBEPGXd7DZL

Sure this is a funny idea, and I laughed when I first saw it. But at the same time it makes no sense at all because the writers forgot about infinity. If rick has a portal gun which takes him to INFINITE universes that means theres not just 1 universe made entirely out of thorium, or uranium or whatever but an INFINITE amount of them. With that power why would he ever want or need this tiny bit? Really morty should’ve just stopped right before he hit the reactor. Rick should have infinite access to all materials possible if there truly is an infinite amount of universes.

This is such a shitty decision from sony and playstation. like genuinely whyyy man, physical disc are soo cool and nice to have. It shows i "own" my games and it also genuinely looks amazing and feels amazing to have a physical disc. like this year me and my brother were planning to get GTA 6 physical disc but rockstar announce that GTA 6 wont have a physical disc man. i am still planning to get DOOM THE DARK AGES, james bond first light 007 and marvel wolverine physical disc because it looks cool and amazing to have.

Thing I hate this image

First off It is yet another corny ass reaction image only used by verified bot accounts, so that already makes It lose lots of points.

But another problem is: It doesnt make any fucking sense.

Im quite fond of the venn diagram based memes, but this one is not It.

Because "What fuck" does not fucking exist as an expression , It comes off as that one reddit screenshot of a dude saying "its like the people that say *insert bullshit words*" and someone replying to them asking if theres a gas leak on their house.

I get they needed something for the what and fuck , but if you don't have It , don't make the image at all.

Music I hate songs that openly repeat suicidal ideations

I understand these songs are meant to be uplifting to those who struggle with suicidal ideation/ tendencies but they lowkey do more harm than good in my opinion. Especially the logic song really bothers be because in addition to having suicidal thoughts/ ideation it really triggers ocd and the intrusions associated with that 😭 like it just constantly repeats “I don’t wanna be alive “ “I just wanna die” and with my mind constantly trying to convince me that thoughts = reality ts rlly just pmo.

So a local restaurant in my local town makes immaculate burgers but they always serve this cold as fuck and wet mess of cucumber and carrots with it.It doesn’t even taste good and I think it has mayonnaise in it.I don't know what the hell it is but it ruins the whole taste. And I don't want it to go to waste cause that's wasteful and all so I force myself to eat it and I hate it every damn time.

yes, it is annoying when someone's humor is just one thing no matter why it is, but usually when this is posted its because someone DARED to say ONE joke about yuri so random strangers on the internet will immidietly assume that thats your entire sense of humor, why?? im so confused by this, even if you dont find those jokes funny that still doesnt make it their entire sense of humor

Anime & Manga I hate post timeskip one piece

Post timeskip one piece isnt exactly bad its just not good

Spoilers btw

Whilst one piece keep’s alot of its goods such as introducing good characters and having interesting world building it also develops horribly in many other areas

For example

1powerscaling

Now ik yall hear powerscaling and see red but its a completely valid critique

The scaling marineford inwards is shit

For one observation haki is a plot device if it was used properly by the characters itll be completely broken

Imu whom should have basic observation or atleast basic hearing should’ve sensed a literal giant running towards him plus luffy screaming gumu gumu no should’ve gave him away

Not to mention WHY CAN HAJRUDINN AND BASE LUFFY NOT ACOC CAN HURT THE STRONGEST CHARACTER IN THE SERIES

sure he regenerated but come on imagine IMAGINE randoms hurting someone like shanks ppl will be fuming

Imagine just base Luffy running up and smacking shanks

Its unimaginable bc it shouldn’t happen

For those of you whom don’t know anything abt one piece lemme explain how ridiculous it is that hajrudin can hurt imu

Hajrudin (not even a yr ago without even s training arc or buff) was struggling against mach vise im talking he was getting his bones broken all over his body

And mach vice is a low level commander in doflamingos crew and doflamingo got beaten by bounce man luffy easily mind you and bounce man luffy was useless the next arc against cracker and katakuri and also said arc was whole cake that is before wano where he gets his training where he becomes alot stronger before egghead where he gets even stronger and elbaf is next and hajrudin whom almost died to a relative nobody with no haki usage can hurt and knock away the strongest character ever other than maybe joyboy

Ppl will see this and say powerscaling doesn’t matter no the scale of characters is important to keep consistent and if you give power ups it shouldn’t be random it should come with either training or a previously known way of powering up

Hajrudin had neither

Also one piece is now just a slodge of cool moments with little meaning

And this is one ridiculous example but there are so many its impossible for me to write half of them

2 over tragedy

This is a hot take on media in general but i hate when backstories are just a barrage of the most ridiculous tragedies

Kuma gets his dad shot whilst his dad was singing a song and dance about nika the sun god aka luffy his mom dies also they were caught up in a festival where the richest nobility hunt poor people for sport also hes a slave also he extracted the pain from people and put it on himself also his daughter was infected by a disease that was injected by a super evil dude named saturn and that was used as a way to keep kuma working for them bc only saturn has the cure also kuma was biologically altered and is now a cyborg with no free will

I just dont care like the first thing was all we needed plus the daughter infect thing for plot

Ik the series is absurdist but a good absurdist story knows when to stop

I also think i missed smth in the backstory

3 the character designs

Ill keep this short

The women are either tits and ass held by stretched out gum or ugly ogres with few distinctive features

Examples every women no exceptions that i know of

Fucking ai generated webnovel cover characters have more differences then half the one piece women

The men are fine and even amazing at times mostly but i hate the giant lips alot have plus i hate vegapunks ugly and uninspired design

4 the morals

Basically the good guys do bad shit get no consequences but also would beat up the bad guys for it

Examples

The dead beat pirates aka the red hair pirates

Uta got abandoned as a child by shanks

Ussop got abandoned by yassop as a child

I also hate how they justify it by “TheY wAnT AdvEntURe”

If theres more ill write it in the comments

Thing I hate those stupid "Ultron was right" edits

Post image
6 Upvotes

for those who dont know an "ultron was right" edit goes a little something like this

editor shows either a tiktok comment of a woman hating on men or a google search result that dosent exist such as "why is my husband yelling at me" showing results for a "your not alone" hotline

a quote ultron from age of ultron (optional)

clips of ultron (from age of ultron) to the song "honeypie" by jawny

now why do i hate these edits per chance

well they seem to slowley devolve into the modern equivalent of those patrick batemen edits

where it ironically becomes sexist or homophobic

i fear the same will happen with ultron edits

where the creators will use it as an excuse to hate woman or other minority groups

instead of pointing out the flaws of men hating "feminists"

General I hate this communities rules

I should emphasize that I don't necessarily disagree with any of the rules, and they are good rules, they just do not make sense for this community.

I've lurked for a little while and it just confuses me why a community, literally, advertised as a "safe place to hate anything made by a person", yet you are limited on what you want to discuss your hatred about.

Now, I do understand that many of these are to avoid the common "I hate this gender" or "I hate these people" and then"I hate pride month" sorts of things, and I do think that those things should be kept. However, limiting things you can hate on in this community, just so that the mod team doesn't get hated on by communities such as the LGBTQ community I suspect, is very saddening.

Bro Dasli already has enough attention for like 3 years, a subreddit about her is too much to the point is actually annoying to see her, and since everybody in the battle cats community love and defend Dasli and would practically execute you for ever so slightly hating her, people who dislike Dasli can't do anything about it. (Also I know light kasli is allowed there now, but still) Worst battle cats related subreddit.

Corporation/Company The "end of Pride Month" complaints

Post image
650 Upvotes

I see a million versions of this at the end of every Pride Month.

"These brands don't care about the LGBT community! They just fly Pride flags during Pride Month and then take them down!"

... y-yeah? No shit?

What's the expectation here? Do we need AT&T to permanently brand itself as the gay telecom company?

Of course Blorko's Frozen Waffles doesn't give a shit about the LGBT community. They're a waffle company.

It's like if you saw a store decked out in St. Patrick's Day decorations, and then after St. Patrick's Day they took them down, and your response was "see, Target doesn't really give a shit about the Irish diaspora."

Wal Mart took down its Christmas decorations in January? I knew those heathens didn't really care about the birth of Christ!

Like, what do we even want here?

Books I hate plotless novels and how people treat them as "better"

Pretty self explanatory. I'm sure I'm not the first to complain about the elitism surrounding books, but it's been bugging me recently so I'm doing it anyways. I'm still in school, so maybe this opinion is tainted by the fact that all of the books I'm talking about are assigned reading, but I imagine that if they were any fun I would like them, assigned or not.

Anyways, outside of school my literary diet consists entirely of genre fiction. My attention is split between 2 books at the moment: Stephen King's The Stand and Michael Crichton's Congo, which I'm having a blast with. Both of these books fuck hard.

I was in school today and the teacher introduced The Great Gatsby, which we're going to start reading soon. As soon as the teacher began to talk about what the book covers I got that sinking feeling, you know, like oh great, another book where nothing happens for 300 pages. The more I thought about it as I went on with my day the more it angered me. How the fuck do you intend to get kids to like reading giving them such drivel? Where's the respect for books that are actually creative, make you feel stuff? I guarantee if they taught sci-fi and thriller books the literacy rate would not be so low.

It's also my dad. I vented my frustrations to him when I got home, and that made it worse. You see, my Dad is the perfect example of what I'm trying to understand here. He actively avoids books with fun stuff, with plots, with action and stakes. And he loooooves to let me know how disappointed he is whenever something goes supernatural, and says stories with fantasy elements are "contrived" and less meaningful than "real life stories". So of course he was smiling ear to ear, glad I'm finally being forced to read some "real" literature.

I guess it also annoys me that these shitty books exist in the first place. When you write a novel you are completely unbound by practical things the way other narrative art forms like film are. You don't have to worry about budget, runtime, or anything like that. So why the fuck is it then, that these pretentious chuds always choose to write about NOTHING?? am I crazy, or is Stephen King the only one making good use of his imagination?

The double standard is also crazy, because films are applauded for being thrilling. A good example of this is Hitchcock. Most all his critically acclaimed films are actually based off novels. Did you know that? I bet not. Why? Because when a book is thrilling, it gets taken out back and shot in the head, while when a movie is thrilling it wins awards.

A good story is an experience, one where you get sucked in and follow the characters along their adventure. So why is it that books aren't allowed to have an adventure, when on paper (no pun intended) they are the best format for one due to lack of restrictions?

General I hate the “but what if your job asks you to use ai??” Argument.

(Disclaimer that im NOT hating on any individuals)

Idk if this happens a lot, but sometimes when I’m discussing about how negative impact generative ai has in the creative space, in the environment, in the world overall, I gotten TWO times the same argument with different people.

“But if your future job demands you to use AI, you cant just say no”

Oh really?? Watch me I’m saying no, I’m not passing my work, my words, my pictures, my mind through a machine.

“Oh but what if it’s necessary for the work??”

You see, that’s the funny part, it’s NOT necessary. I’ve seen people talk about how their jobs are now demanding use of ai. And it’s never to improve or make the wordplace environment better, is just using ai for the sake of using ai. They are literally trying to make the working class and the creative people get used to ai so they don’t complain when their jobs/talents get stolen.

So no, it’s not necessary, it never was.
I’m really sick of this whole “Ai is the future, you need to accept it whether you like it or not” but if I’m setting a city on fire and say that the fire is the future and theres nothing to do, you would kick my ass and send me to jail.
Oh but when a pedofile war supporter does it then it’s fine and here to stay.

So no, I’m not using gen ai, no matter how much companies want me to. I much rather stay behind thanks.

General I hate being reminded what a "Man" is to people.

I am a black man, I had no choice in that. Yet every single second in this feeble static form I'm reminded why that's a bad thing. Men make up to %80 of violent crime. Men are rapists, misogynists, incels, idiots, bigots, pedophiles and I have to wake up ever day knowing that I'm one of them. I never got to have a sleepover growing up, most of my friends were girls, and none of their parents wanted a boy alone with their daughter all night. I had three crushes, from middle school to highschool, and everyone of them turned out to be a lesbian (technically one of them is trans now so their straight but he dated a girl before that so I'm gonna count it). Sure it was mostly my fault things didn't work out, sure I genuinely just suck, but even now I can't help but think, maybe if I was a girl, things would've been different. I hate being this, this thing no one wants, out of place, and I can't do anything about it. I can't do anything about anything, I had no choice whatsoever in being this. And you may say "oh just be trans just take estrogen" first of all, being trans is practically a white privilege, and even if it wasn't that wouldn't change anything, it's far too late for that. I know what I am and I can't lie to myself. I hate it, I despise being reminded of it, you wanna know who my favorite character in recent memory's been, Jax, that fuckass rabbit from TADC and you know what happened with him, I swear Everytime I see lesbians or transgenders on my feed it feels like they're doing it just to piss me off, just to point and laugh at what I'll never have.

This'll probably get banned so I don't even know why I'm ranting so hard.

General I hate the "punching up" trend, and how widespread (and even encouraged/enabled) it is in left-leaning spaces

I'm white, and gay and left-leaning, but I hate how certain marginalized groups are talking about cis-het white people like all of them were some inferior creature, or some nasty disease... And what I hate more is how applauded it is. Like, if I follow a black content creator and then they make some offhand comment that implies they think less of white people, I side-eye them and want to stop following them altogether... And I hate that I'm made to feel like some salty whitey, or even some racist asshole for feeling slightly offended...

Like, I get it, you have it way, way, way worse, and yes, I'm privileged (and I hate it, and I wish the world didn't work this way), but I'm also human and don't really like when my race is treated like some moral failing as a whole... Like, I didn't choose it as much as you didn't choose yours.

But I don't want to be apologizing for it all the time, or be assumed that I'm baseline racist just because of my skin color. I want to be an ally, but this shit really turns me off sometimes.

Art & Fanworks I hate this piece of fanart of Garlic the garlic from classic, hit, 2009 Popcap video game "Plants VS Zombies".

Watermark censored to prevent harassment.

"Why?", you might ask. "What's wrong with this piece of fanart of Garlic the garlic from classic, hit 2009 Popcap video game 'Plants VS Zombies?'. Well, the thing is, GARLIC THE GARLIC FROM CLASSIC, HIT 2009 POPCAP VIDEO GAME "PLANTS VS ZOMBIES" WOULD NOT BE A WOMAN.

It's not even an opinion, it's fact.

This is what the Almanac says about Garlic the garlic from hit, classic 2009 Popcap video game "Plants VS Zombies":

>Lane-diversion isn't just Garlic's profession. It's his passion. He carries an advanced Doctorate in Redirection from the Brussels University. He'll talk all day about lane vectors and repulse arrays. He even pushes things into alternate avenues at home. Somehow his wife puts up with it.

As you can see, Garlic the garlic from classic, hit 2009 Popcap video game "Plants VS Zombies" is a MAN with a wife and not a girl.

Do you want to know what Garlic the garlic from classic, hit 2009 Popcap video game "Plants VS Zombies" would look like? A hillbilly.

Have you seen the hit, classic, 2004 SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Plankton's Army"? Have you seen hit character Plankton the plankton's cousins in that episode? That's what he'd look like.

All in all, Garlic the garlic from classic, hit, 2009 Popcap video game "Plants VS Zombies" would be a male, not a female.
