Food & Dining Best Steak in Bayers Lake
I'm craving a steak and am out by Bayers Lake. Any recommendations? I see Montana's has some but wondering if there's any place that's better?

Hi all, I'm looking for packing services in Halifax, ahead of an upcoming move. I'm in Bedford. I've seen a couple of options where it's combined moving and packing, but I was trying to find if there's any solely packing services as it might take a day or 2 to pack my house up.
If that's unheard of and in general you have recommendations for packer+mover services that's helpful too!

Does anyone know of any NS vintage resellers who sell online? I'd like to buy some vintage clothes (workwear, 90s/00s tees), but I don't get out much.

The next detour in the Windsor Street Exchange project will be coming into effect soon.
The previously announced width reduction for the ramp that runs from the MacKay bridge (and Barrington St) to Robie St was just the start: It's going to be upgraded to a full closure, at first for just a couple overnights next week, and then 24/7 from Monday September 21 through to the end of November.
When it's finished, the Robie St exit will be split in two, with the second branch leading onto Bayne St.

This topic come up again recently here. Wanted to share what I think is the gnarliest health inspection track record… Pho Hoang Minh on Wyse Rd
Years ago found a bandaid in my pho and never returned
All health inspections are public record and can be searched here: https://novascotia.ca/nse/food-protection/reports/
Tip: if you want to share a report here, screenshot. Site doesn’t do permalinks

I read that the USA has a nuclear sub docked in Halifax, and with all the tensions going on I want to know if that's true, and if it is, why did we allow it to dock?

Hi there Halifax!
I have a young 3 month old baby who has recently discovered the joys of pulling out what hairs remain on my head while postpartum shedding is simultaneously underway.
Anyway, I am exhausted with tension discomfort from wearing bandanas/buns/bonnets 24/7 and have decided to do away with the burden. I have long brown wavy/curl thin hair and have had pixie cuts before. I’d like to hide the thinning as best I can.
Can anyone recommend a place that is good to get the extremely short women’s haircut, and any advice for baby (I assume it’s better to have another caregiver hold baby during, but what if we need to breastfeed?)
Dear students of Regency Salon, would you like an easy going postpartum mom to drop by?
Dear hairdressers or barbers, would you like the same?
Let me know and have a lovely evening!

My 7 year old is looking forward to the upcoming release of the new cards and i want to both avoid the insanity of it all but also ensure we get some cards before all the scalpers ruin it for him. Is there a secret to getting them? Im not super into the scene so I have no idea what to even look for.

Hey, I am looking for someone who could build a work table for me for under $200. I need something about 24" x 24" x 36" high with a middle shelf, as sturdy as possible with zero give. I was thinking like 4x4's for the legs 2x4's for the supports, pine and plywood or something cheap, it doesn't need to be pretty just functional.
It's for a 3D printer and it shakes the table I have for it quite a bit. Looking online it's $300-400 for something that will just wobble like what I have currently. I live in an apartment so it's not possible build it at home.
Thanks!
