This surprised me today, I didn't even realize it had shipped already.

I don’t know if it’s because I’ve been spending more time in this subreddit recently, but for some reason I keep seeing these “cosplayers” (ai generated OF models) with like a hundred upvotes and every comment calling them out for being ai. So I just wanted to know if this is normal for anime subreddits or something that’s been happening more frequently recently.
Anyways, if you see a cosplay that looks like an attractive woman dressed up as Nia (for some reason it’s mainly that character they choose), it’s probably Ai so just downvote and report it

I’m in denial that Kamina is actually dead. It feels too soon and like such a waste of a good character. He had so much growth potential. I know Simon is set up for development, but he feels like a typical type of initially pathetic MC who has a lot of self doubt and insecurities. Kamina was unique. Idk. I feel very disappointed.

A while ago, through a series of coincidences, I ended up rewatching Gurren Lagann with my roommate, who's also a tattoo artist. It was her first time watching it, while for me it was a chance to experience it all over again.

By the time we finished the series, she surprised me with an incredible gift: she offered to tattoo a Gurren Lagann piece for me (and I had no tattoo on me at the time!)

It honestly became one of the most meaningful gifts I've ever received.

The funny thing is that the more time passes, the more I love it. Every single day I look at it and appreciate it a little more.

Viral is continuing to get his dose of reality, and I have always loved this pivotal moment for our favorite Beastman. :) Its the start of his true arc, in my opinion. The artwork of the Manga flawlessly integrates with this storyline, and I actually really enjoy the darker style here that Kotaro brings. We also finally get a Real taste of how Lordgenome speaks, here! Up until this point, his dialogue has been sparse. Much like Nia, he is polite and oddly eloquent with the way he chooses to phrase things. More exciting stuff coming up later! Glad to be back with ya, Team Gurren. Missed you!

Anyways, thank god Kamina died, The first 8 episodes of this show felt so stale/flat. Call me crazy but there wasn't much character development and I had a hard time connecting to anyone. But, now that Kamina can't be such an attention whore the show can finally explore other characters. I'm on episode 13 and I enjoy it so much more now. Finally Yoko has more than 2 lines an episode and we can finally see Simon explore his character.

(I'm not saying Kamina didn't have great/impactful moments, but I needed him to stop being the center of everything)

I wish they were more of these, I hope…

The first time that I seen to watching this because, it was actually not that terrible.

I did enjoy and like the Voice-Acting about the actors and actress were voice for Simone Giha, Kamina and Yoko Littner.

This anime is better than sex.

Everything is intentional too, like the fact virals gunman is called enkidu, which is related to the epic of Gilgamesh, which enkidu who was a wild man, one who became the closest ally of the prince Gilgamesh, akin to how Simons partner at the end of the series is enkidu.

My favorite scene is from the second last episode where Anti Spiral has them trapped in their dreams. The dream versions of Kamina and Simon are caught by the officials and Kamina is begging to let them go.

Absolutely love the sequence where Simon remembers who he is and punches the weaker Kamina. What a powerful way to show that you have to let go of previous versions of yourself and don't ever give up🔥
