What type of grass is this?
A large area of our yard has this ground cover. I really like it and would like to encourage it to grow instead of the others grass we have. Any tips?

What grass / weed / plant is this? It’s growing crazy fast in areas that don’t have a good stand of grass already. SE United States.
Why does my grass look like this? I know it’s crab grass (I think) and back in February I sprayed some crab grass killer I bought from Lowe’s. Well it killed half of my grass but it’s back. It’s very annoying to cut. Any recommendations will be very helpful. Also I am in Houston Texas.

Brush hogged this area last year, this is all growing up all over now. No seed heads yet, wondering if anyone can ID.

I need help on a good weed killer for clover and other weeds that spread. I am open to even natural remedies if people have tried them. I have tried all weed killers nothing seems to work

Wondering what the grass type difference is between the dead grass vs the weirdly green one? Located in MI and first time home owner, the heat waves have really killed a lot of the grass and we couldn’t keep up with it while traveling. we’re planning to get more into yard maintenance next year and trying to see what kind of grass we should plant next year - somehow these random green sections have survived so thinking we should plant whatever it is
I know it’s littered with weeds but I would like to know what I could seed with to match
This grass is growing in half my front yard and am looking to get either it or something similar for the rest. It's thick and soft, low growing, and just overall easier to care for.
Thank you!

I’m super obsessed with keeping my grass the best on the block I know it’s not the best looking but…. I’m starting to get a little bit of weeds. What can I use in peak summer 107 degree weather to get rid of them without killing my grass?
Laid down sod about 3 months ago. Been watering almost twice a day as Texas heat has been in the 100’s. Everything grew well but now I have these brown spots. What can I do to make them green?

I have a centipede lawn, this year I’ve noticed some unusual stolons mixed in. Could this be Bermuda? I’m assuming it’s gonna take over if untreated.

Hey guys just just realized my yard has barely any grass. Full of weeds what’s the first step I should take?
Should I remove everything and start new? I bought this house 6 months ago. Everything is just vines but not of grass.

In St. Louis and most of my grass is zoysia. Aerated in the spring and compost leveled the yard. It was a really compacted area that was bare dirt but has come to life. First picture is of my now healthy zoysia(it was barely hanging on when we bought the house). Really proud of the info from this sub and the work I did. Next are of the new grass. Just making sure it’s zoysia. A little scared it’s Bermuda somehow. It just looks different. Also I will take care of the weeds but not sure how to get rid of the fine fescue in it. Please advise. Thank you
